Comment: The company believes that it can do very well in Cambodia/Myanmar/Laos with its single product. I have my doubts on the distribution capabilities but am curious to see what happens.

CGH
On March 11, CGH will propose raising capital to shareholders after the board approved a Bt2.56bn capital increase (par at Bt1/share) with a rights offering of one existing share for 1 new share at a price of Bt1.30/share. The proceeds will be used for business expansion in Thailand and overseas, The company believes its financial position will be stronger in the future. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/15)

ERW
ERW expects revenue growth of 35% this year backed by more rooms and a high occupancy rate of 80%. Its has budgeted 2015 capex of Bt2.0bn to build five Hop Inn hotels. It plans to open a hotel abroad in 2016. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/15)
Comment: ERW is still the best pure play for hotels in Thailand today.

HMPRO
HMPRO reported 4Q14 net profit of Bt1.03bn, up 34% YoY, the highest in 2014. In 2014 net profit was Bt3.31bn, backed by growing sales at existing and new outlets. It announced a cash and stock dividend totaling Bt0.14/share. (Kao Hoon, 26/02/15)
Comment: And this company still continues to perform, regardless of what is happening with the economy.

PACE
PACE expects earnings turnaround to profit this year. It has Bt13bn in backlog and expects to realize revenues of Bt2.0bn this year. It plans to open two new projects with a value of Bt10bn. It also plans to raise capital in an amount of not more than 20% of total shares for private placement with an Israeli partner. (Kao Hoon, 26/02/15)

Comment: RS and WORK should in theory be the biggest winners in the digital TV business with continued increases in ad rates, the fear I would have as a shareholder (I no longer am) is that what happens if they just miss 1 or 2 quarters of high earnings growth?

Singha Estate’s acquisition done to extend its real-estate business — An anonymous source from a brokerage house said Singha Estate’s acquisition was expected to extend its real-estate business and expand its market into high-end customers. Singha group’s takeover of Nirvana Development is part of its planned business expansion. The transaction value has not been finalised yet. Singha Estate also has other planned investments this year according to the source. (Krungthep Thurakij, 26/02/15)
