BTS will bid for the high-speed train project connecting three airports. It expects to conclude with a partner in November. It has strong financial health with cashflow at Bt30bn. (Krungthep Turakij, 5/6/18)

EA expects strong operations in 2Q18 backed by operations at its 126 MW wind power plant. The company expects earnings to be a record high in 2018-19 supported by ramping up operations at wind power plant (260MW) that will increase total capacity to 664MW. (Kao Hoon, 5/6/18)

EPG plans to increase CAPEX to Bt400mn (from Bt250mn) to expand capacity. It targets revenue growth at 15% this year. (Thun Hoon, 5/6/18)
Comment: I do wonder when this company will begin to look attractive again, its near IPO levels. The core reason for them performing well in the past was the collapse in oil prices leading to margin improvements
GL
GL is in a difficult situation after the Court of Appeals of Singapore ordered a temporary suspension of GL’s asset divestment as requested by J Trust Asia. GLH as well as GL’s global subsidiaries are forbidden to dispose of assets worth up to US$180mn. This could have a sharp effect on GL’s revenue. (Kao Hoon, 5/6/18)

ORI
ORI maintains its revenue target at Bt20bn this year and plans to launch new projects valued at Bt3-4bn. It plans to increase contribution from SDH to 36.4% in 2020 from 9.7% currently. (Thun Hoon, 5/6/18)

The Ministry of Energy has provided basic information to pre-qualified bidders for Erawan and Bongkot gas fields. The Ministry expects the auction results to be announced in December this year. (Kao Hoon, 5/6/18)

RS has unveiled its business plan for 2H18 using the MPC business model to launch LINE @ COOL Anything. The company plans to launch in-house and partner brands. It expects this to boost 2018 revenue to Bt5.8bn. (Kao Hoon, 0/1/18)

TICON expects to exceed its 2018revenue growth target of 15%. The company plans to expand space to accommodate customer needs, especially in EEC zone to boost growth prospects. (Kao Hoon, 5/6/18)
Comment: The issue for a company such as TICON is that it can only scale so far.
TISCO
TISCO Financial Group will book extra income of Bt3.5bn in 2Q18 after selling its personal loan portfolio to Citibank Credit Card. Another Bt2.6bn in its personal loans will be transferred this year. The company expects 2Q18 earnings to surge from higher revenue and lower loan provisioning. (Kao Hoon, 5/6/18)
Comment: And this will help to cover the negative loan growth on their books
