ECF will submit to the board plans for a 20 MW waste power plant. It also expects to sign off on the GEP project by the end of June. The company is aiming for a 30% earnings contribution from power. Management says that domestic and foreign funds are interested in its shares. KSL’s 2Q17 will benefit from its Laos and Cambodian harvest season worth more than Bt300mn as well as revenue from its power plant. The company targets 10% growth in revenue YoY. Comment: With BRR being the first mover in the sugar industry to launch an IF I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that multiple bankers are running to each of the sugar families recommending to do the same

NVD
NVD will launch a luxury condo worth Bt6bn in September with presales expected to be no less than Bt1bn. The company’s backlog on hand is Bt1.5bn. It targets Bt2bn growth in revenue this year with 10 projects on hand worth Bt14bn. (Thun Hoon, 14/6/17)
Comment: Arguably they have THB 25 bn worth of projects on hand if you include the land plot they’ve just acquired. 

ORI
ORI is looking to make acquisitions with over ten hotel, apartment and office deals and expects to start construction on three hotels that will finish in 2019. This will support 20% growth in the next five years. (Thun Hoon, 14/6/17)
Comment: I saw this company a year ago and I suppose then didn’t realise that they would be expanding so quickly into multiple areas of the real estate market – time to resume knocking my head against the wall for missing it

PTTGC
PTTGC signed a deal with its Japanese partner on the manufacturing and distribution of High Heat Resistant Polymide-9T and HSBC in Thailand to support the auto production base, as well as construction, medical devices, and consumer products. (Thun Hoon, 14/6/17)

RICHY
RICHY is receiving a lot of interest in its capital increase. The company will launch three new projects worth Bt2.5bn with backlog of Bt3.2bn on hand, of which Bt1bn is expected to be recognized this year. (Thun Hoon, 14/6/17)

RS will revise its 2017 earnings target on the strength shown by its health and beauty business line “Life Star”, which it now expects will grow 500% YoY, with revenue exceeding Bt1.1bn. The company has also entered the instant coffee market with the brand “SOM CMax” aimed at men, with target revenue contribution of Bt200mn in 2017. (Thun Hoon, 14/6/17)
Comment: The market is loving this as the stock has risen +5% today. So whilst we can applaud this new step for the company, where is the focus on the core business?

SEAFCO

SPRC
SPRC will submit its capacity expansion plans to the board. It wants to expand capacity to 170 KBD during its major plant turnaround in 2019. The company targets 165 KBD in production this year and forecasts Dubai crude oil price of US$50-60/bbl. (Thun Hoon, 14/6/17)

TRUBB
