ADVANC reported 1Q16 profit of Bt8.1bn on revenue of Bt37.25bn. It has 38.9mn subscribers. It will maintain its EBITDA at 37-38%. It will keep its dividend payout at 100%. It continues to expand subscriber numbers and its 4G network. It will bid for 900MHz on May 27. (Thun Hoon, 10/5/16)
Comment: 1Q16 demonstrated the length to which telco’s are willing to fight for market share. Jas never stood a chance, now what about DTAC and TRUE (where we are betting revenues are up and profits are down tremendously)
 
AMATA
AMATA prepares to sign a contract for 400-500 rai, which will allow it to reach its full-year target of 1,000 rai. Chinese and Korean investors are interested in its land. (Thun Hoon, 10/5/16)
EA
EA expects 1Q16 profit of more than Bt700mn or growth of 20% YoY due to the uptrend in the solar farm business. It expects earnings in 2Q16 to continue to be good supported by high season and booking income from the 90MW Phitsanulok project. (Kao Hoon, 10/5/16)
FSMART
FSMART expects 1Q16 earnings to be a new high. It will report earnings this week. It is installing 73,000 on-line top-up machines, which is adding to revenue. It expects profit growth of 30% from top-up machines this year. (Thun Hoon, 10/5/16)

QLT plans to invest in Myanmar and Vietnam. It expects to collaborate with local partners to increase revenue. It is confident that revenue in 2016 will grow. It targets net profit growth of at least 20%. However, in 1Q16 profit fell to Bt14mn. (Kao Hoon, 10/5/16)
SIRI
SIRI expects low-rise transfers of more than Bt3bn in 1Q16. It plans to launch a single house project in Phuket worth more than Bt1.04bn in June. It targets transfer and low-rise sales growth of 20% to reach Bt14bn. (Kao Hoon, 10/5/16)
TKN
TKN target 2016 sales increase of 10-15%. It will focus on Bangkok, other provinces and abroad. It plans to expand its business to Japan. (Kao Hoon, 10/5/16)

TOP shows 1Q16 profit increase to Bt4.7bn or EPS of Bt2.32. It expects GIM in 2016 to be good supported by revenue from the petrochemical business and booking revenue from its SPP power plant, which has capacity of 239MW. (Thun Hoon, 10/5/16)

TU reported 1Q16 net profit of Bt1.23bn, a fall of 19% on a drop in FX gain. Sales grew 9.3% to Bt31.26bn after it acquired “Rugen Fisch” (Kao Hoon, 10/5/16)
WHA
WHA sold all 3,500 debentures. It plans to refinance debt and expands its business. It is confident that 2016 revenue will hit target of Bt16-17bn after booking a full year of revenue from Hemraj. (Kao Hoon, 10/5/16)
