Comment: I’m both surprised and unsurprised that there are still multiple projects in the market that companies like BJCHI and STPI can bid for.

Comment: CHOW reminds me of GUNKUL i.e. they were in one business and successfully pivoted to the renewable energy business

CI targets Bt3bn transfers. It is budgeting Bt2bn to acquire land in Bangkok and provinces in order to expand its business. Its new condo project, named Issara Collection Sathorn, got presales of 50% and CI expects it to sell out by early 2018. It says 25-30% of total presales came from foreigners. EA expects 90MW wind power plant to operate in 2Q17. This will increase its total capacity to 404MW. It expects this to push its 2017 net profit to mark a new high. It expects Agricultural Land Reform Office to make a decision about the land for the Hanuman power plant (260MW) which is expected to COD mid-2018. (Kao Hoon, 14/03/17)
Comment: This land reform office has been another unfortunate annoyance for the companies in the renewable space. 
 
NDR
NDR targets 2017 revenue growth of 15%. It is talking to partners in Indonesia and Vietnam in order to expand its motorcycle market. It is budgeting Bt100mn to improve production efficiency and do R&D. (Kao Hoon, 14/03/1 7)
PSTC
PSTC expects 1Q17 performance to be good backed by 29MW power plants. It expects the alternative energy business to grow 100%, which will give it a net profit. (Thun Hoon, 14/03/17)
Q-CON
Q-CON plans to focus on wall products to diversify from AAC Block (autoclaved aerated concrete). It expects 2017 performance to turn around from a net loss of Bt107mn. SPA
SPA targets 2017 revenue to grow 30% brought by tourism growth. It is budgeting Bt500mn to open 10 more branches and for an acquisition. It expects this to increase its potential. (Kao Hoon, 14/03/17)
SPRC
SPRC targets 2017 refinery output of 165,000 barrels/day with target refinery margin of US$0.25/barrel. It is budgeting US$20mn to improve its refinery plants. It targets refinery output to achieve 170,000barrel/day in 2020. (Kao Hoon, 14/03/17)
TMI
TMI plans to take part in government unit solar farm, and expects to get 5MW PPA this year. It plans to expand to CLMV and the Middle East, with an eye to lifting exports to comprise 50%.
