AMATA
AMATA maintains its target land sales of 925 rai this year although it sold just 100 rai in 1H18. It says this is due to seasonality. Management said it is dealing with customers in China and Europe to sell more than 100 rai of land to each. It plans to increase land price no less than 5% and expects earnings to grow YoY, backed by income from the power business. It will do a joint venture for the natural gas business. AOT
AOT maintains passenger target growth of 9-10% though passenger growth slowed to 4.5% in July which may be caused by the FIFA World Cup or the Phuket ferry tragedy. (Post Today, 20/7/18)

IVL
IVL announced the acquisition of 74% of Egypt’s MEDCO. The transaction is expected to be completed in 3Q18. MEDCO is the largest packaging manufacturer in Egypt with a market share of 25%. MEDCO has a production capacity of 70,000 tons/year. (Kao Hoon, 20/7/18)

MACO
MACO’s shareholders approved the acquisition of 75% of VGM Malaysia for Bt360mn. This transaction is intended to expand its media business abroad. (Kao Hoon, 20/7/18)
PTT
PTT expects earnings 3-year CAGR of 3%. It targets to raise non-oil business growth to 2-3% per year for the next three years. Given the rise in crude oil price, it will increase its activities in the non-oil

RS
RS is partnering with Bangkok Insurance (BKI) to expand to the insurance business. It will expand the market through new distribution channels. RS management expect earnings to reach a record high this year. (Kao Hoon, 20/7/18)
Comment: So now they will sell insurance through their TV channels?
TSE
TSE will start up a 17.6MW biomass power plant in August. It expects 2H18 earnings to be strong. Management is studying a power plant project abroad and expects to make a deal soon. It will book an extra gain of Bt400-500mn from selling TSEO shares in 3Q18. (Thun Hoon, 20/7/18)
