ANAN says 4Q17 results will be the highest in 2017, as it is going to book its backlog of Bt13.73bn in revenue against its target for the year of Bt23bn. It targets 2018 transfers and presales to increase to Bt40.5bn and plans to launch 22 projects worth Bt48bn. (Khao Hoon, 29/11/17)
Comment: Part of me is thinking that the property market in Bangkok may be peaking in 2018, another part of me looks at the amount of liquidity entering in the economy next year with some THB 600 bn from the government and elections (good ol fashioned vote buying) which may prop things further for another year or so
HUMAN
HUMAN’s IPO price is Bt4/share. It plans to use IPO funds to develop its IT system, set up a learning center and invest in other companies offering synergy. (Thun Hoon, 29/11/17)
Comment: I don’t see why this company needs to go public nor what the funds will be used for that will genuinely add value. But given its a small name, small float, it should perform decently.
OISHI
OISHI says the fire at the UHT beverage plant on November 27 has reduced production capacity by 12%. It reports that it has insurance for the damages from the fire . (Khao Hoon, 29/11/17)
RML
RML believes 2017 revenue will reach target of Bt3bn after 9M17 revenue of Bt2.56bn and current backlog of Bt3.597bn, of which Bt550mn will be booked as revenue this year and the rest will be booked in 2018 and 2019. (Khao Hoon, 29/11/17)
SEAFCO
SEAFCO received two new projects worth Bt210mn. This increased its backlog to Bt3bn, which will be streamed into revenue. (Thun Hoon, 29/11/17)
SIRI
SIRI’s three big executives exercise warrants at Bt2.5/share, even though SIRI’s share price is lower than the exercise price, as they are confident in the potential growth in its business after investing in six international lifestyle and technology businesses. TKN
TKN is negotiating with a new Chinese partner to further expand in China. It also plans to set up a headquarters and factory in China in the future and says it is ready to expand to the US market. It targets revenue to grow by 10% per year and expects 2018 revenue to grow by more than 10%, as it plans to add new products. It also says 4Q17 sales will rise substantially. (Thun Hoon, 29/11/17)
UV
UV’s board approved the purchase of 80% of AheadAll shares for Bt81mn in order to expand to electricity control system and security system business. It reports current backlog of Bt4bn. (Thun Hoon, 29/11/17)
