AMATA
Amata to invest in Vietnam’s Dong Nai – Thai industrial-city developer Amata will invest in three high-tech industrial-park and urban-development projects in the southern Vietnamese province of Dong Nai, news website dddn.com.vn reported. Amata Vietnam will be the investor in a 753-hectare urban-development project in Tam An commune in Long Thanh district. (The Nation, 16/01/15)
Comment: Amata still has the IPO for Amata VN in the pipeline for this year.

DTAC
DTAC opens its 4G service center in Phuket. The new service center is expected to help support tourists and business operators in the area. It also plans to open new service centers in Hatyai, Surat Thani and Koh Samui due to the high demand for interest usage in those areas. (Kao Hoon, 16/01/15)

FORTH
FORTH bidding for Bt8bn project to replace government light bulbs. Management expects to win at least 10% of all projects that it plans to bid for, which will add to its current backlog of Bt500-700mn. The company plans to invest Bt600mn to expand its line of business. Revenue for 2015 is expected to reach its target of Bt5bn. (Thun Hoon, 16/01/15)

HOTPOT
HOTPOT expects revenue and net profit to continue to grow. Currently it has 144 Hotpot branches nationwide. It said that its new brand, “Signature Steak Loft”, is performing well and it expects to open at least 5-10 new stores. (Kao Hoon, 16/01/15)

IFEC
Board approves share purchase in WR. IFEC’s board has approved the acquisition of shares in Wang Karn Ka Rung Roj Co., Ltd. (WR), a company that runs a 1.2MW solar plant. IFEC will start booking revenue from WR immediately. (Thun Hoon, 16/01/15)
Comment: I just can’t fathom IFEC’s valuation, if you sit down and do every number then it’s not worth more than 7 and thats bullish at best…

IHL
IHL sets revenue target of 15% this year as it sees a better auto production market this year compared to last year. It plans to expand into four new lines of business, which should help increase revenues by 20%. It will also invest Bt120mn to build its 8th and 9th factories to raise production capacity since currently it is running at 100%. Management also signaled that 2014 earnings will be strong. IMPACT
Performance in line in 3QFY14. IMPACT said it expects earnings performance for 3QFY14 (Oct-Dec 14) to be in line. It said it is preparing documents to propose a dividend payment to the board in the middle of February. (Kao Hoon, 16/01/15)

MFEC
MFEC chief wants to stay out of NMG row – Siriwat Vongjarukorn, president of SET-listed MFEC Plc, has changed his mind about investing in the private placement (PP) shares of Solution Corner Plc (SLC) in order to stay away from the dispute between SLC and Nation Multimedia Group (NMG). OISHI
Oishi vows to make bigger ASEAN splash – Oishi Group plans for greater penetration into ASEAN countries after sales of its ready-to-drink beverages enjoyed double-digit growth in Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia. (The Nation, 16/01/15)

PAE
Many foreign investors showing interest in joining with PAE. The company expects net profit this year to surge 400% and that it will clear its accumulated loss of Bt1.62bn. Shareholders expect to receive their first dividend in several years. The company has received a big lot order from PTT and is also in talks with IRPC on a second big lot order for a different line of business. (Thun Hoon, 16/01/15)
Comment: Sounds like pure stock manipulation to me here.

PPS
PPS expects revenues to exceed Bt300mn this year driven by more projects from both the public and private sectors. However, the company said that it will miss its 2014 target. Currently, it is waiting to sign new work for project management of the Green Line worth Bt400mn in 1Q15. It also expects to win 1-2 projects for project management of malls in Myanmar. SAWAD
Management confirms strong 4Q14 earnings and that 2014 earnings will grow as targeted at 30%. This year, earnings should also continue to grow, supported by its new business – bad debt collection service. It recently gained four Japanese automakers as clients. It has also received work to manage bad debt for an SME bank worth Bt4-5bn. It also plans to expand further in nano finance. (Kao Hoon, 16/01/15)
Comment: Bad debt collection is a great business IF you can buy debt @ cheap prices, and then of course collect it.

SENA
SENA plans to launch 10 projects worth more than Bt10bn this year. It expects presales to reach Bt3.5bn and lift revenue to Bt3.5-4.0bn this year. Currently it has Bt1.9bn of backlog on hand and expects to book Bt1bn of it this year. It said that it is interested in investing in solar rooftop projects and plans to issue Bt1bn worth of debentures. (Kao Hoon, 16/01/15)
Comment: Sena has been more focused on the low-mid end target market but they look to be testing the market with a “high-end” condo launch later this year.

WORK
WORK confident that 2015 revenue will reach Bt2bn driven by the up-cycle in the TV digital business and ad rates. (Kao Hoon, 16/01/15)
Comment: Work is the winner in the digital TV industry, they have one of the best ratings, their ad rates will go far higher.
