BANPU
BANPU expects net profit to return to the black this year aided by US$70mn extra gain on Hongsa power plant and its coal capacity of 46.1mt/year. It plans to acquire a coal mine in Indonesia. It plans to issue a Bt10bn debenture. (Khao Hoon, 26/02/16)

BCP
BCP is budgeting Bt20bn for add 60 gas stations. It plans to list a subsidiary in 4Q16. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)

BJCHI
BJCHI reported its highest net profit at Bt1.32bn in 2015 supported by continuous construction of FPSO’s P75&77 projects. It targets 2016 revenue to grow not less than 15% thanks to Bt3.7bn backlog. It expects to be awarded new projects in April. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)
Comment: Impressive results given the huge drop in oil prices

BWG
BWG’s board has approved investment by its subsidiary in a second waste power plant with capacity of 9.4MW, valued at Bt1.15bn. It also approved Better World Transport to set up a logistics management and control center at a cost of Bt180mn (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)
Comment: The problem here is that the Energy Regulatory Commission has been slowing on issue new PPA’s for the sector..

EPCO
EPCO reported 2015 net profit of Bt247mn brought by contribution from power plants. It targets 2016 net profit growth of not less than 50%. It plans to invest in power plants at home and abroad. It plans to list a subsidiary this year, with 25% held by a partner. It will pay a cash dividend of Bt0.04/share and stock dividend at ratio 25 old to 1 new share. (ASTV, 26/02/16)

FORTH
FORTH is budgeting Bt750mn to expand Boon-Term Top-Up machines at home and abroad. It plans to take part in Bt1bn in bids. It expects this to increase its backlog to cover revenue until 3Q16. It targets 2016 revenue to grow 10-15%. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)
Comment: FSMART is the real value here.

FPI
FPI expects to complete dealing with a US customer by April. It is talking to a prospective partner to bid for a biomass power plant at the end of this year. (Khao Hoon, 26/02/16)

GUNKUL
GUNKUL will pay a cash dividend of Bt0.25/share and stock dividend at a ratio of 5:1, XD on May 3. It reported 2015 net profit of Bt685mn (+25%). It expects 2016 revenue to reach Bt6bn. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)
Comment: Another stock dividend…seems to be quite a few out there.

IRCP
IRCP got public projects which increased its backlog to Bt1.5bn. It expects 80-90% of its backlog to be booked this year. It expects 2016 revenue to be better than last year. It plans to announce progress on its power investment plan in March. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)

K
K reported 2015 net profit with 171% growth. It will pay a dividend of Bt0.08/share, XD on March 8. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 20%. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)
Comment: You’ll see an interview re this company in a few weeks, and the expansion within the industry with all the malls coming online in the next 5 years will give K more than enough work..

L&E
L&E expects 2016 net profit to be better than 2015’s from new plants, which it expects to double exports. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 15-20% backed by high demand from AEC. It plans to set up a subsidiary in Vietnam in 2Q16 to handle orders from Australia. (Khao Hoon, 26/02/16)

MACO
MACO plans to expand 20,000 sqm ad media in and around Bangkok to get in on higher purchasing power brought by infrastructure investment. It targets 2016 revenue to grow 15% by expanding at home and overseas. It reported 2015 revenue of Bt694mn, up 12%. It will pay a dividend Bt0.03/share. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)
Comment: They had better make a move because PLANB is beating them left right and centre

NDR
NDR expects 2016 revenue to be higher than Bt1bn through the introduction of new products and expansion overseas, especially to India. It is budgeting Bt80-100mn for machine improvement and to invest in solar cells that it expects to lower its electricity cost by 10% annually. (Khao Hoon, 26/02/16)

NOK
NOK reported cancellation of 20 scheduled flights per day to DCA through March 10 because of the shortage of pilots. It has recruited pilots and trainers, including 10 from the United States under an existing agreement with Boeing. It says it expects to come back with better service. (The Nation, 26/02/16)

RS
RS reported 2015 revenue of Bt3.78bn with net profit of Bt121mn. It will pay a dividend of Bt0.1/share. It plans to start a share repurchase program. (ASTV, 26/02/16)
Comment: A 65% drop in earnings…this digital TV just isn’t getting there yet..

SAMART
SAMART is talking to private and public units to invest in e-payment business, lining up with the government measure “National E-Payment”. It expects to get a Bt5bn project, with a decision to be made soon. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)
Comment: There’s been a lot of talk around this and I wouldn’t be surprised to see SAMART get a piece of hit, article 112 be damned.

SAWAD
SAWAD reported 2015 net profit of 1.34bn (+56%). It will pay a cash dividend of Bt0.003/share with stock dividend at a ratio of 40:1, XD on April 28. (Khao Hoon, 26/02/16)
Comment: Another stock dividend? I never like to see so many stock dividends, last time this occurred was post 2012 earnings and then we saw the market peak in 2Q13…

TCJ
TCJ expects 2016 revenue to grow not less than 10% backed by large orders from public projects. It plans to increase capacity in order to handle MRT decorating projects. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)

TFD
TFD expects 2016 earnings to turn around. It has bought land on which to launch a Bt7.5bn condo. It signed an MoU with investors in Taiwan to sell its old building at the Harbour View Residence project, valued at Bt1.66bn. It says foreign investors want to buy 200 rai of land, valued at Bt1.8bn. TKN
TKN targets 2016 revenue to grow 10-15% by expand to abroad. It expects revenue to achieve Bt10bn in 2024. It is budgeting Bt500mn to invest in new plants. It will hold a first roadshow on Feb 29. (Khao Hoon, 26/02/16)

TMI
TMI reported 2015 net profit in blank ink because of increasing in revenue from house brand products. It will pay dividend Bt0.015/share, XD on March 4. It targets 2016 revenue to grow 20%. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)

TRC
TRC reported 2015 net profit of Bt305mn, up 42% on Bt3.88bn revenue. It has work on hand of Bt6.4bn. (Khao Hoon, 26/02/16)
Comment: They will benefit from the potash mine & most likely winning the work for it as well.

TVT
TVT targets 2016 revenue to reach Bt600-630mn (15-20% growth) on the back of ad revenue and launching new T.V programs. It expects its new studio to finish by this May. It expects this studio to decrease its cost. It plans to acquire production house company in 1H16. (Khao Hoon, 26/02/16)

UBIS
UBIS plans to expand to China backed by high demand, expects a decision to be made in 2Q16. It expects 2016 revenue growth of 20-30% as it plans to expand abroad. It expects net profit to mark a record high brought by whole year revenue booking from FAMILY group. (Thun Hoon, 26/02/16)

WHA
WHA reported 2015 net profit of Bt1.95bn thanks to business uptrend and extra gain on HEMRAJ. It expects 2016 revenue of Bt17bn. (Khao Hoon, 26/02/16)

    • Well the news was that samart themselves provided the evidence to show that they are innocent, but no official news from the dsi/government/etc etc has been given to the best of my knowledge….

      • Thanks Pon, will be interesting to see Samart’s strategy to pivot away from the core SIM business to its U-Trans business. Another IPO coming up and a bundle of cash perhaps for the majority owners.
