HYDRO
HYDRO confident 2015 will be in the black as it will have no low-margin projects and targets a rise in concession revenue proportion to 10%. The company will reduce 2015 revenue from construction to 80% from 90% of total revenue in 2014. The company has backlog of Bt1.5bn. (Kao Hoon, 06/11/14)
Comment: This stock was a darling in everyone’s eyes for a while, but earnings never really came through.

MODERN
Modernform eyes hospitals – Modernform Group Plc, a leading office furniture company, is interested in acquiring a hospital in Bangkok as part of the plan to extend its reach to the hospital business. (Bangkok Post, 06/11/14)
Comment: The shareholders behind MODERN are quite astute investors in their own right. Modern itself has been one of the best performing companies in the past decade.

NCL
NCL sells all 95mn IPO shares. The company is a logistics service provider and has potential growth. The financial advisor expects trade to begin on mai on 11 November 2014 and expects investors to enjoy an attractive return. (Kao Hoon, 06/11/14)

PTT
Studying divestment of BCP — PTT says it is in the process of studying the divestment of its 27% stake in BCP. It expects earnings this year to be similar to that of last year and aims to conclude the deal on the petrochemical complex in Vietnam by 3Q15. It plans to issue bonds worth Bt10bn this December. It plans to list GPSC on the SET in 2015. (Kao Hoon, 06/11/14)
Comment: Basically they are looking for a buyer of BCP shares and I’ve heard some crazy ideas being tossed around.

QH
QH offering last minute campaign to help spur sales on Nov 8-16, with promotions of discounts of up to Bt2mn for houses and condominium units. (Kao Hoon, 06/11/14)

SIM
SIM expects 4Q14 net profit growth of 100% YoY as it will book profit from large lot mobile sales to DTAC of 500,000 units and set-top box sales of 1.1mn units. The company will focus on the overseas market in 2015. (Thun Hoon, 06/11/14)
Comment: One time shot, in reality their phone sales growth are declining rapidly, stripe out this large lot sale and SIM’s earnings growth next year will be negative.

SIRI
SIRI expanding aggressively into low rise market segment. It plans to launch its housing project, Setthasiri Krungthep Kreetha, worth Bt3.6bn, on Nov 11, 2014. It is confident in the low rise market and expects demand will continue to stay high moving forward. (Kao Hoon, 06/11/14)

SPVI
SPVI cancels appointment of BIGC as Apple computer and tablet distributor. The company targets opening 10 Mobi booths in department stores nationwide in 2015. 3Q14 net profit was Bt2.38nm, -46% YoY, from the economic slowdown and because clients were waiting for new products. (Kao Hoon, 06/11/14)

SYNTEC
Japanese company requests partnership. Management is considering this. Next year, it will bid for public projects and is interested in being a subcontractor for mass transit projects. The company has large backlog for condominium construction and expects to bid for additional projects to bring backlog up from currently Bt11-12bn. (Thun Hoon, 06/11/14)

TTW
