BIZ is in talks with 8-10 public and private hospitals to install its radiotherapy machine worth in total Bt1bn. The company expects to recognize this revenue over 2017-18. BTS gets cabinet approval of the Pink and Yellow lines worth Bt80bn after MRTA amended the contract. The contract for the project is expected to be signed mid-June. BSR Joint Venture will make an announcement tomorrow regarding its own extension of the Pink Line. (Kao Hoon 31/5/17)

EPG earnings dropped 2.2% YoY to Bt1.4bn. The company will pay a dividend of Bt0.15/share XD is on 3 August 2017. (Kao Hoon 31/5/17)

LHBANK
LHBANK announced that the capital injection from CTBC worth Bt16.5bn will be done within July 2017 from previous target of end of September. The company targets funding size of Bt400-500bn in 4-5 years. It also targets loan growth of 6-10% for the year. It is confident the resignation of Mr. Anan will not impact the CTBC decision. KTB
KTB is confident in the government’s ability to support economic recovery, which will support target growth for mid-size loans of 7% or Bt30bn. KTB is venturing into small industrial credit insurance with credit limit of Bt6bn, of which Bt2bn has been approved. (Kao Hoon 31/5/17)

Chula Group has become the largest shareholder of NOK with a stake of 29% after purchasing Bt454mn (189mn shares) worth of shares. THAI is now the second largest shareholder. (Kao Hoon 31/5/17)

PTT has given the rights to PTT Lao to sell its ‘Amazon Café’ franchise to expand its business overseas. The company targets 75 franchise branches in Laos by 2021. (Kao Hoon 31/5/17)

ROJNA to benefit from use of Article 44 to push EEC. It expects its 3,000-4,000 rai land in Rayong and Chonburi industrial estates to benefit from the government’s use of Article 44 to swiftly develop the EEC project, which will likely attract foreign investors. (Kao Hoon 31/5/17)

TSR expects 2Q17 performance to improve QoQ due to seasonal demand. The company is expanding its water filter business into Laos and will add two new business lines in personal loan and car-for-cash in 3Q17. (Kao Hoon 31/5/17)
Comment: If the bad debt continues to decline to normal historical levels then you could be looking at a huge %age jump in YoY profits
