ARROW 

ARROW added electrical conduit production capacity to handle the expected increase in big construction projects. It targets revenue growth of 10% next year and a widening in its net margin to 10%. (Thun Hoon, 12/12/18) 

BIZ 

BIZ targets sales growth of 10% next year. It targets sales from BIZGenes, its new business, to reach 10-15% of its total revenue. Backlog is Bt1.4bn and some will be booked in 4Q18. (Thun Hoon, 12/12/18) 

BTS 

The Royal Thai Railways will announce the winner of the Bt224bn three-airport high-speed rail link project on Dec 14. BTS-CP consortium expects to be awarded the project. (Kao Hoon, 12/12/18) 

Comment: So does most of the market.

CHAYO 

CHAYO

targets to buy Bt10bn to manage next year. It is negotiating with a big-cap financial institution to buy its debt. It expects debt under management to reach Bt10bn by the end of this year from current of Bt9.7bn. It expects 4Q18 results to be good. (Thun Hoon, 12/12/18) 

Comment: Still a long way to go to catch up with JMT. 

DDD 

DDD targets revenue growth of 20% next year, supported by new products and expansion of traditional distribution. It has budgeted Bt40mn to purchase machines and acquire inventory. As for the Philippines market, it targets revenue to reach Bt100mn next year. It plans to acquire at least one company next year worth more than Bt100mn. (Thun Hoon, 12/12/18) 

Comment: So the market is still pricing them at decent growth levels despite the share price contraction. The question is can they grow beyond only being a snail white brand? If yes there’s a good future, if no then its a question mark, but the answer to this will only be known over the next 3-5 years

GPSC, GLOW 

ERC poised to reconfirm Glow ruling. The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) is likely to adhere to its recent resolution to derail a takeover effort made by PTT’s unit Global Power Synergy Plc (GPSC) for Glow Energy Plc. (Bangkok Post, 12/12/18) 

Comment: Well at least at times the government prevents monopolies.

GUNKUL 

GUNKUL expects revenue growth of 25% to reach Bt7.5bn next year. Power plant with total electricity production capacity of 105MW will start commercial operation next year, giving it total electricity production capacity of 506MW. At the EPC business, backlog is Bt800mn and will be booked as revenue through next year. It plans to bid for many projects with total value of Bt500mn and it expects to be awarded 10% of this total value. (Kao Hoon, 12/12/18) 


HARN 

HARN expanded the printer business in Vietnam. It targets sales of Bt30mn. Management targets sales growth of 15% to Bt1.5bn and it expects backlog to reach Bt500mn next year. (Thun Hoon, 12/12/18) 


IVL 

IVL acquired airbag thread business in Germany and Mexico with total production capacity of 12,000 tons/year. The deal will be completed 1Q19, making it a lead airbag thread and integrated textile manufacturer. (Thun Hoon, 12/12/18) 


RS 

RS targets revenue of Bt5bn next year. It expects net profit to be the highest since it was established 37 years ago, underpinned by the MPC business. It will highlight Lifestar BIZ business. It plans to file a request with the SET to change its sector from Media & Beauty to Commerce. (Kao Hoon, 12/12/18)

Comment: Now they are apparently looking into the MLM business.
