BAY doubles capacity for mobile banking transactions. Bank of Ayudhya (BAY), the country’s fifthlargest commercial bank by assets, has doubled its mobile banking transaction capacity to keep pace with booming online volume and to comply with Thai Bankers’ Association (TBA) measures to prevent a future system crash. CPN expects 4Q18 results to be year’s peak. It expects revenue growth of 20% this year supported by expansion of rental area. GUNKUL announced it is stopping its stock buyback program at Bt304.67mn with total shares purchased at 99.04mn shares, 1.34% of total shares. It continues to invest in power plant projects. III expects revenue growth from air freight after AirAsiaX adds a new route. It expects 4Q18 results to be the year’s peak, supported by high season for the logistics business. KTB’s board approved KTC to do Pico and Nano finance and then will ask BoT approval in November. MD says he fully supports this business. The Finance Ministry expects BoT to issue a license within one month. KTC expects earnings of Bt5bn this year. It will do a roadshow in Australia after a good response in Hong Kong. PTT’s CEO will negotiate with the Energy Ministry about a Bt3/liter oil price subsidy for motorcycle taxis for a total subsidy of Bt18mn/month. He says this measure must be passed to the board. The Energy Ministry has ordered PTT to begin the subsidy in November and then it will have the oil fund subsidize Bt2/liter. (Kao Hoon, 29/10/18)

QH opened Gusto Petchakasem 69-Kanchanapisek premium townhome for presales on October 27-28 with discounts of up to Bt400K. The project value is Bt900mn. (Kao Hoon, 29/10/18)
TKN
TKN says share price fell because are investors worried about its sales from China. It explained that the China market contributes just 24% of total revenue, not 40%. It will focus more on the domestic market to reduce dependency on Chinese market. It maintains its revenue growth target of 15% and a decline in material cost will widen its margin in 2H18. Comment: Well they did have a great boom from the chinese tourists, it’s not a bust today, it’s investors that expected for the continued boom to continue.
