BCP negotiating with Indonesian partner to set up a geothermal power JV. It expects a decision to be made in September. It will continue to hold second place in its market with a share of 15%. CHO expects to get a big project valued at Bt800mn. It targets revenue growth of 10% and expects 2Q16 to show a profit thanks to more orders. It has backlog of Bt600mn, of which it has booked Bt400mn. (Thun Hoon, 03/08/16)

FSMART has no effect from the cancellation of World Cup tickets and maintains its revenue target growth at 30%. It plans to expand to 90,000 Boon-Term machines nationwide. (Kao Hoon, 03/08/16)
GL
GL expects 2H16 earnings to step up after realizing profit from its JV in Indonesia. It targets loans to reach US$1bn within 2018 and will expand to Cambodia and Laos. (Thun Hoon, 03/08/16 )
Comment: The key driver for GL will still only be Cambodia, Laos and Indonesia will be too small to have an impact

 
HMPRO
HMPRO plans to issue a Bt2.7bn three-year debenture with a fixed rate of 2.10%. It will be sold to institutions or high-net worth investors. It will use the funds to repay debt and as working capital. Reserve date is set for Aug 3-4. (Kao Hoon, 03/08/16)

NCH
NCH expects 2016 revenue will hit target of Bt2bn supported by more demand. It has a new project worth Bt2.7bn which will increase its backlog from Bt704mn. (Thun Hoon, 03/08/16)
PTT
PTT expects 2Q16 profit of Bt23bn or growth of 21%, supported by gas business and operating at full capacity. This will give 1H16 profit of Bt52bn. (Kao Hoon, 03/08/16)
SC
SC is confident that 2016 presales will hit target of Bt15bn supported by the launch of six new projects valued at Bt12bn in 2H16. (Thun Hoon, 03/08/16)
TKS
TKS has backlog of Bt400mn and will book this in entirety this year. It has reduced its 2016 target revenue to Bt1.51bn after missing out on a government job. (Kao Hoon, 03/08/16)
TLUXE
TLUXE expects 2Q16 earnings to be positive supported by high season and booking revenue from its geothermal business in Japan. It plans over the next 3-5 to add 30 geothermal plants to increase revenue to Bt300mn per year. (Thun Hoon, 03/08/16)
TSE
TSE will report 2Q16 earnings on Aug 11. It is confident that 2016 revenue and profit will grow more than 2015. It plans to buy a 50MW solar farm in Japan and expects to get 10MW PPA in Japan at the end of 2016. In 2H16, it plans to issue a Bt3bn debenture. (Kao Hoon, 03/08/16)
Comment: We’ve been hearing about all of these solar plants that have been bought in Japan, I do wonder how they are all performing
 
UNIQ
UNIQ expects to get a government job in 2H16. It plans to bid for the Bt76.6bn Orange Line. It has backlog of Bt30bn to support 2016 revenue and it has gross profit margin of 18%, the highest in its sector. (Thun Hoon, 03/08/16)
Comment: More projects still to come for the entire sector, now, when will the smaller ones i.e NWR, CNT etc etc begin to be win some of the sub-contractor projects?
