Comment: We do wonder aloud, weakening thb, which other export based or sectors/companies that rely upon Thailand being cheap for labour will benefit in the continued weakening of the THB? The same question of course goes for every other country in the region.

CENTEL
CENTEL expects to benefit from the baht depreciation as it will lead to an increase in tourists. Its average occupancy rate is 80% in 1H15 which is higher than 1H14. (Thun Hoon, 10/07/15)

KKC
KKC expects 2Q15 earnings to grow 20% with growth aided by the depreciation of the baht. It says it has no plan to introduce new products. It plans to increase its capacity by setting up plants abroad. (Thun Hoon, 10/07/15)

MCOT expects to book a Bt55mn extra gain in 3Q15 as the administrative court has decided in favor of MCOT and it will not have to pay the Rai Som for the ads. (Khao Hoon, 10/07/15)

Foreign investors bought 46.98% of ML shares. It has purchased bad loans from TBANK and expects to get more from SME Bank and IBANK to begin its business of managing bad debt. It expects to start lending under the nano-finance scheme in 4Q15. (Thun Hoon, 10/07/15)

It plans to increase capital by Bt1.5bn to invest in existing and new businesses; this will be submitted for shareholder approval on July 29. It expects to show a net profit in 2019 and wipe out a Bt2bn retained loss. (Khao Hoon, 10/07/15)

PJW expects robust earnings in 2H15 with 10% revenue growth in 2015, backed by new car models, increasing work on hand by Bt100-150mn. It expects to book Bt70-100mn from the painting garage which it expects to reach breakeven in 2017. (Khao Hoon, 10/07/15)

S expects to show a net profit this year from 2014’s loss of Bt250.78mn aided by booking revenue from acquisition. It plans to take over a Bt4bn property business. Investors are interested in buying TCMC shares via PP. Management plans to broaden its customer base by a business takeover. It targets revenue of Bt20bn in 2-3 years. It expects 2Q15 earnings to rise 25-30% compared to last year. (Thun Hoon, 10/07/15)

TFD plans to set a Bt2bn REIT into which it will sell TISCOM and 70,000sqm of eight warehouses in 3Q15 before building a 100,000sqm warehouse. It expects to list TISCOM in 2Q16. (Thun Hoon, 10/07/15)

TVD
TVD expects 2015 earnings of Bt100mn (+1,000% YoY) and expects to wipe out retained loss this year. It expects 2Q15 earnings of Bt10mn and 3Q15 earnings of Bt80mn aided by extra gain from selling a subsidiary. (Khao Hoon, 10/07/15)

UPA

Comment: Linked closely to Dawei’s development. Its now at a mkt cap of THB 16bn, thus thb 80 mn per MW, not too expensive….but yeah.

UREKA
UREKA plans to invest more in agricultural business in 2H15, expecting to introduce 2-3 new products which will increase the proportion of revenue from this business to 50%. It expects a turnaround in 2015 performance with 100% revenue growth. (Khao Hoon, 10/07/15)

  1. Foreign investors selling big positions in the last two months, lower SET and earning forecast…. hard to say when downtrend will see bottom….
