PP approved – SIMAT has approved the issue and sale of new common shares to Mr. Amratpalsingh Chansrichawala at Bt5.65/share on July 24, giving him a stake of 0.52%. The funds will be used to buy fiber optic equipment and expand coverage area for the optic fiber network in Nakon Ratchasima, Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen. (ASTV, 28/07/15)

SIRI
SIRI maintains 2015 target presales at Bt22bn. It has already achieved Bt10bn, of which Bt1.5mn is expected to be booked this year and the rest will in 2017. SIRI and BTS plan to launch numerous condominiums soon. (Thun Hoon, 28/07/15)

TFD
TFD expects to show net profit this year, benefitting from extra gain and high revenue from assets and industrial estate. It expects performance to surge next year. Management plans to do a share repurchase of about 10%. (Thun Hoon, 28/07/15)

TRC plans capital increase via PP. It expects to get Bt726mn in funds via the sale of shares to 16 investors at Bt2.2/share. TWZ

UREKA
UREKA subsidiary to buy patent for rice mill for small community. UREKA and a partner plan to invest in rubber machines. It targets 50% revenue from agricultural business and expects to be number 1 in agricultural machinery in Thailand. (ASTV, 28/07/15)

  1. It will be interesting to see how CPALL fares in the next few years given Tesco and BigCs expansion into the small retail format, potentially one of them an acquisition target by CP? Buy out the competition and increase bargaining power….

  2. SIRI has a tricky CEO, huge brand value (in 2013, 37% of people surveyed rated Sansiri as the best property developer in the country) and is taking on the majority of the risk in their JVs with BTS. Particularly worrying given the current state of the economy.

      • The majority of new condo buyers are doing so for relisting, not for actual use. Its one massive investment bubble, carefully disguised as actual demand. Looking forward to the pop, so I can expand my property portfolio.
