Comment: Good luck in getting shares of this. I don’t think its the best business model in the world you could call F&N a second tier outlet at best.
 
JWD
JWD plans to expand to ASEAN, targeting exports to comprise 10%. It is talking to a party about investing in a cold storage business in Malaysia, with a conclusion expected next year. It expects 2016 revenue to reach Bt2.38bn thanks to more clients. (Thun Hoon, 04/11/16)

LPN reported 3Q16 net profit of Bt306.51mn, down 69.39%. Revenue dropped by 59.19% to Bt2.46bn on no transfers for new projects. It expects Bt4.5bn backlog to be transferred in 4Q16. (Kao Hoon, 04/11/16)
Comment: LPN has major issues with their backlog and if they don’t launch projects quickly you may see a rather hefty cut in their dividends
PCA
PCA expects to focus on services business, with hopes this will make up a higher portion of revenue. It plans to expand to abroad, especially in CLMV. It plans to take part in Bt13bn bids for the Village Internet project. It expects 4Q16 earnings to be good with backlog of Bt300-400mn, to be booked through next year. (Thun Hoon, 04/11/16)
SAPPE
SAPPE targets 2017 revenue growth of 15% as it plans to launch new products. It is studying increasing its capacity from 130,000tons/year. It expects 2016 performance to achieve its target. (Thun Hoon, 04/11/16)
SCI
SCI plans to take part in Bt300mn bid of PEA’s Project, expects the winner to be announced within this year. It expects to be awarded two EGAT projects, valued Bt1bn in Nov. It expects to show net profit for the rest of the year. (Kao Hoon, 04/11/16)
Comment: The only question here is when will they win that last big project from Laos?
 
SPA
SPA expects 2016 revenue to grow 40%. It expects 4Q16 earnings to be good on seasonality. It continues to add more branches with a goal of 31 by the end of this year. It is talking to a party about expanding abroad and expects to sign an MoU this year. (Kao Hoon, 04/11/16)

STEC is buying 181.5mn shares of WAVE or 10% stake for Bt4.85/share or a total of Bt880mn. This makes STEC the third largest shareholder. It expects this investment to provide recurring income in the form of dividend. (Kao Hoon, 04/11/16)

THAI expects 3Q16 earnings to back in the black at Bt311mn on a 26% cut in fuel expenses and Bt800mn FX gain on a weaker euro. (Kao Hoon, 04/11/16)
TNP
TNP reported 3Q16 net profit of Bt13.95mn, up 81.64%. It plans to open more branches, with an eye on a prime location (Chiang Saen) which it sees as having high potential. It targets 2017 revenue growth of 10-15%. It expects 4Q16 earnings to reach target because of seasonality and long weekends. (Thun Hoon, 04/11/16)
TOG
TOG expects growth in 4Q16 earnings. It plans to present its 2017 business plan to its board on Nov 9. It targets 2016 revenue growth of 8-10% and plans to expand abroad. It has budgeted Bt300mn to increase its capacity to 1.5mn lens from 1mn lens. It expects to finish setting this up in 2Q17. (Thun Hoon, 04/11/016)
TPCH
TPCH expects 3Q16 net profit to be a record high, +800%YoY. Behind this is the increase in capacity of 23.2MW. (Thun Hoon, 04/11/016)
Comment: It’ll be this story for next few years, no different from what TSE and EA have done in the past.
