CHO received orders for five catering trucks from customer in UAE, valued at Bt40mn. Delivery is to be in mid-2016. It expects to get 15 more orders, all of which will provide 10% revenue growth this year. (Khao Hoon, 27/01/16)

KCM
KCM is talking to a Chinese partner about importing solar cells. It expects this to generate Bt50-100mn revenue. It plans to set up a steel rolling mill in Cambodia. It expects to list its subsidiary on the Cambodian stock exchange. It expects 2015 performance to be good despite the economic slowdown. (Thun Hoon, 27/01/16)

KKP
KKP targets loan growth of 15% by focusing on corporate and wealth management. It expects 2016 net profit to be better than 2015 due to lower provisions. It plans to issue a Bt2-3bn debenture. It expects to increase BIS to 18% to expand it loans growth. (Thun Hoon, 27/01/16)

NWR
NWR expects to take part in Laen Chabang port and motorway bids valued at Bt2bn and Bt16bn respectively. It is looking for a partner to invest in serviced apartments. (Khao Hoon, 27/01/16)

PAF
PAF expects 2016 performance to turn around. It plans to increase its product lines to support sustainable growth. It got numerous OEM orders from abroad. It is talking to an auto company to provide automobile supplies. (Thun Hoon, 27/01/16)

SAWAD
SAWAD plans to expand to Indonesia to access the population of more than 200mn. It has joined with Promise to provide loans through Quick Cash. It expects 4Q15 earnings to be good. (Khao Hoon, 27/01/16)
Comment: If even the large banks are experiencing an uptick in NPL’s, I’m convinced that SAWAD and MTLS will eventually experienced the same.

SCN
SCN plans to open three NGV stations with a budget of Bt200mn. It expects the NGV business to contribute Bt2bn revenue/year after government has unlocked the NGV price and is allowing the private sector to expand NGV stations freely. (Khao Hoon, 27/01/16)

SMPC
SMPC targets 2016 revenue of Bt4bn benefitting from lower cost thanks to lower oil and gas prices. It plans to expand into new markets. (Khao Hoon, 27/01/16)
Comment: Rather audacious targets set by management, wouldn’t be the first that they’ve missed..which is a shame as I think they are a decent operator.

TMI
TMI expects 2Q15 net profit to return to the black with net margin of 5% at least. It targets exports to contribute Bt100mn in this year. It targets 2016 revenue growth of 20%. (Thun Hoon, 27/01/16)

TOG
TOG is talking to a prospective partner in North America and expects to complete the talks in 2Q16. It has budgeted Bt350mn for plant and product line improvement. It expects this to reduce cost and help keep gross margin at 25%. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 10% supported by widen customer base. (Thun Hoon, 27/01/16)
Comment: A SpecSavers equivalent for the USA perhaps?

TPC
TPC expects 2015 revenue of Bt2.26bn (+166%) thanks to a wider spread brought by the fall in oil price. It expects a strong performance backed by dividends from its investment in other companies. (Thun Hoon, 27/01/16)

TPIPL
TPIPL expects to set up cement plants abroad which is expected to be finalized soon. It expects 2016 revenue to turn around backed by large orders from contractors. It expects its 4th production line to start up and support its orders. (Thun Hoon, 27/01/16)
Comment: Unless its in Myanmar or Cambodia I wouldn’t support an expansion given the over capacity throughout the world

TWZ
TWZ’s board has approved the share repurchase program in an amount not exceeding Bt250mn or 260mn shares. The purchase period will run from Feb 8, 2016 to Aug 8, 2016. It plans to list its subsidiary this year. (Khao Hoon, 27/01/16)
