BANPU
BANPU expects 4Q17 earnings to be the highest of 2017. It projects 4Q17 earnings at Bt2.5bn, growing 56% on a sharp rise in sales and in coal production volume to 10mn tons. It projects 2017 earnings of Bt8.2bn, implying growth of 388%. (Khao Hoon, 29/12/17)

DCORP settled a deal to buy shares of Hero Experience for Bt325mn in cash, and will proceed to develop the first Marvel-themed amusement park in Thailand. It expects this project will be done by May 31, 2018 . (Khao Hoon, 29/12/17)

KSL reports FY2018 earnings (May 2016-October 2017) of Bt1.952bn, up 36% from the booking profit from subsidiaries. It reports a rise in 2017 average sugar selling price of 16%. (Khao Hoon, 29/12/17)

PLAT has budgeted Bt2bn to renovate and expand rental area in The Market. It believes 2018 revenue will continue to grow from 2017’s projected revenue of Bt2bn. (Thun Hoon, 29/12/17)
PTT
PTT is expanding its trading business as it aims to establish a global network to strengthen the energy sector in Thailand. It targets revenue from overseas trading to reach 50% within 2020. (Khao Hoon, 29/12/17)
TICON
TICON targets 2018 revenue to reach Bt5bn from 2017’s projected revenue of Bt2bn, backed by a strong rise in rents and the sale of assets. It has budgeted Bt2.5bn to expand warehouses and factories. (Thun Hoon, 29/12/17)
Comment: Part of me is beginning to think this may be worth a look again.
UKEM
UKEM will ask shareholders to approve a stock dividend of 2:1 with cash dividend of Bt0.015 and free distribution of UKEM-W2 in proportion of 8:1, XD-XW by February 7, 2018. (Khao Hoon, 29/12/17)
Comment: If you track the petrochem cycle of UKEM you can do quite well.
VCOM
VCOM is penetrating the CLMV after receiving Bt230mn from its IPO. It plans to raise revenue proportion from overseas to 20-25% and revenue from servicing to 50% from 25% in the next 2-3 years. (Khao Hoon, 29/12/17)
