Comment: What is interesting about KEPCO is that the korean gov organisation won’t take more than 30% their own domestic projects, they are angling for the carbon credits instead hence why you’re seeing companies such as BGRIM and EA able to close deals in Korea
EPG

NWR will book Bt288mn extra gain in 3Q18 from winning the Klongdan case. This will turn around 2018 earnings performance. It is bidding for new projects with total value of Bt29bn and the company expects to win more than 10% of the total value, increasing its existing backlog of Bt12bn. (Thun Hoon, 13/7/18)
SENA
SENA is preparing to launch a JV project, Piti Ekamai, with total value of Bt5bn on August 2 and expects 50% presales. It is confident that its 2018 presales target of Bt10.3bn can be achieved. It reports 1H18 presales at more than Bt5bn. (Kao Hoon, 13/7/18)
SPRC
SPRC announced a 15-day maintenance of the vacuum distillation unit in August to improve production efficiency. It expects the maintenance will not affect performance. It says 2Q18 revenue should continue to improve. It expects GRM at US$5-7/bbl and crude oil price at US$70-75/bbl. It is negotiating to buy retail petrol stations. (Thun Hoon, 13/7/18)

TEAM’s share price rose 11.57% above IPO price to Bt2.7. Management expects revenue will continue to improve YoY in 2018. It is preparing to participate in bidding for new projects worth >Bt1bn this year. The company also plans to expand its business to 10 countries in ASEAN within the next 3-5 years. THANA
THANA will partner with subsidiary TAKUNI to expand in the property business. It expects to see clear progress by early 2019. Management says the transfer of titles looks promising in 2H18, leading it to improve from 1H18. UTP
UTP expects 2Q18 earnings to be strong, supported by many new orders and reduction of raw material cost. It says sales have increased to 18,000 tons/month, which will improve its 2H18 earnings. (Kao Hoon, 13/7/18)
WHA
WHA expects land sales to exceed 1400 rai this year and expects up to 500 rai to be transferred in the EEC zone in 2H18. The company reports that sale of land in the industrial estate in Vietnam will start from 4Q18. (Kao Hoon, 13/7/18)
Comment: EEC…no foreign firm will invest proper er amounts of capital until the country has announced, ratify and begin executing plans for the railway tracks, the BOI incentives, the airport, etc etc. As of now these are all still up in the air.
