AOT: FY3Q14 earnings (Apr-Jun) will increase by 6% YoY supported by tax benefits and lower interest payments. It also said to watch for plans from the NCPO to stimulate the tourism sector. AOT said flights were full and low-cost airlines are supporting revenue. (Tun Hoon, 16/07/14)

BTS

BTS wins job to set up a common ticketing system by proposing the lowest price at Bt339mn. The management said that although the proposed price is low, the company is confident that they can complete the work as required due to its experience and ability to manage cost. The Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP) is expected to sign the agreement within a month and a half. (Kao Hoon, 16/07/14)

EMC: revenue to hit 2014 target of Bt2.5bn supported by backlog worth Bt3bn. It expects to receive new work worth Bt700mn in the near future and it plans to bid for more new work worth Bt3bn to help support revenue in 4Q14. NCH

Sales of Bt1.5bn in 1H14. NCH has revised it business strategy and now plans to open four projects this year worth Bt3bn, up from its original plan of three, with two of the projects worth Bt2.3bn to be launched in 2H14. It maintain its revenue target this year at Bt1.8bn. Current backlog on hand is more than Bt1.4bn. (Kao Hoon, 16/07/14)

OISHI

OISHI to continue to expand Shabushi abroad with its first branch to be set up in Ocean Shawegondaing in Yangoon, Myanmar to support the opening of AEC. It also targets to open 10 new stores abroad within five years and has set an investment budget of more than Bt200mn for this expansion. (Kao Hoon, 16/07/14)

SENA

Talking to expand into new business — SENA is in negotiations with another listed company to expand into a new line of business. It expects a conclusion to be reached next month. It said that if negotiations go as planned, the new business will help lower costs, while increasing order volume. It also says 2Q14 doubled from 1Q14’s Bt375mn, supported by backlog. It plans to open seven new projects worth Bt7bn. (Tun Hoon, 16/07/14)

UMI

Subsidiary increasing capital — UMI reports that subsidiary TTC will be increasing capital by Bt150mn and has changed its corporate status to a public company. It plans to use the subsidiary to expand abroad in preparation for the opening of the AEC and expand its customer base. UMI plans to list the subsidiary in 2016. (Kao Hoon, 16/07/14)
