MC expects 2H16 revenue to be good supported by campaigns and high season. It is confident that 2016 revenue will grow 15%. It has a plan to add 1 branch in Laos. (Kao Hoon, 22/09/16)
Comment: I still think that they have one of the worst inventory days turnover that I’ve seen amongst nearly every retailer in the region.

 
MJD
MJD expects 2016 revenue to reach Bt3.5bn supported by booking more projects and launching a new condo on Sukhumvit worth Bt2.8bn which increase its backlog from Bt10bn. It is study to do a new hotel to support business in the long-term. (Thun Hoon, 22/09/16)
Comment: MJD does have a lot of positives if they are able to complete and transfer their Marque project. Expect to see a story similar to PACE from the brokers in due course.
 
PM
PM expects 4Q16 sales to be good supported by high season. It expects 2016 earnings growth of no less than 5% YoY. It plans to expand to China and CLMV after already expanding into Cambodia. It plans to increase capacity to support business expansion abroad. (Thun Hoon, 22/09/16)
Comment: If you compare what other commerce related businesses have done compared to PM in the past few years then you’d figure out that PM will be a strong grower. They are more interested in maintaining their position versus doing something new.
 
PRIN
PRIN expects 2H16 revenue of more than Bt1.53bn. It says this will lead full-year revenue to reach its target of Bt2.9bn. It reports presales of Bt2bn and expects presales for the whole of 2016 to reach Bt3bn. It will open a townhouse project on Rama II worth Bt1bn in early October. (Kao Hoon, 22/09/16)
Q-CON
Q-CON expects to turn around from the 1H16 loss of Bt38.63mn and grow from profit of Bt7.22mn last year, backed by more orders for the rest of the year. It plans to develop products and increase capacity to support business growth. (Thun Hoon, 22/09/16)

RJH plans to acquire a hospital to supply revenue in the future. It has budgeted Bt1bn to expand its hospital and open an MRI center. It expects 2H16 earnings to grow more than 1H16 supported by high season. It targets 2016 revenue growth of 10-15%. (Thun Hoon, 22/09/16)
SPA
SPA expects 2H16 to show outstanding growth, supported by high season. It expects 2016 earnings growth of 40%. It is negotiating with partners in Thailand and abroad to enter into JVs and will continue to add new branches. (Thun Hoon, 22/09/16)
TCMC
TCMC expects 2H16 to be good due to high season supported by more orders, booking revenue from DMM and booking a full year of revenue from Alstonville. It expects 2016 revenue growth to achieve its target at 25-30%. It continues to take over other businesses to support its business. (Thun Hoon, 22/09/16 )
Comment: The story here is straightforward, they are acquiring growth nothing is being done organically.
 
TPIPL
TPIPL expects to book revenue from the sale of electricity. It will COD 90MW in early 2017. It plans to list subsidiary “TPIPP” on the market and this subsidiary will focus on the power plant business. (Thun Hoon, 22/09/16)
TRT
TRT dealing with foreign partner to bid for a coal power plant in late November. It expects to do a power plant by itself and plans to list a subsidiary on the market. It is ready to bid for a new job worth Bt10bn and expected to get 15-20%. It expects 2016 revenue to reach its target of Bt3bn. (Thun Hoon, 22/09/16)
TU
TU expects 3Q16 earnings to peak from high season. It expects the salmon business to break even in 2H16. (Thun Hoon, 22/09/16)
WHA
WHA has set WHAUP IPO at 229.5mn shares. It expects to get funding of Bt10bn. It expects WHAUP to trade in 1Q17. It will use the funds to retire the HEMRAJ debenture, which will decrease D/E to 1.2X. (Kao Hoon, 22/09/16)
Comment: Well finally they are going ahead with this, it’s been delayed for 12 months
