So its finally approved for 2013 and 2014, less personal income taxes, so the numbers look like so

This is wonderful for us tax payers, I don’t think it will have a big impact on the overall government’s revenue collection b/c there are only some 3 mn (?) actual personal income tax payers in Thailand.

And the cynic in me wants to comment quickly on the governments quote saying that this makes Thailand more attractive, not really, Singapore and Hong Kong charges what 16-17% flat across all salary ranges? And again if I’m a business owner I’d just charge everything through my business instead b/c corp income tax is 20%, why should I waste money paying it to this government?

Investment wise, does this benefit anyone? Well the usual’s, retailers and property.
