Slightly skewed data given that this time last year the floods were all over Thailand and coming towards BKK but still, sales up 233% up to 142,839 units, the details are as follows:

  • Passenger cars accounted for 72,211 units, up 263.7 per cent
  • Commercial vehicles which include 1-tonne pickups stood at 70,628 units or up 206.8 per cent.
  • In the first 10 months, accumulated vehicle sale topped 1.14 million units, up 60.2 per cent on year. Passenger car segment showed the 62.6 per cent growth rate, while commercial segment grew 58.2 per cent.
