  1. G’day Pon,

Can you give me your thoughts on JSP. Do you see upside or a sell off after their quarterly earning which look OK. What am I missing?

    Thanks

    • JSP the property developer?
Ok well I don’t know enough about it to comment properly but from a top level viewpoint here’s what I can say. It doesn’t look cheap on relative valuations, 1Q15 numbers were 0.06 EPS and yes if they were to replicate it each quarter for the rest of the year then you can argue its cheap going forward but I have no idea how its residential projects are progressing (their presentation says maybe THB 2bn recognised by the end of this year) nor how its commercial/malls projects are progressing.

      I’d ask them the following
Land – leasehold/freehold? Helps to determine NAV
Residential projects – sales/construction progress, helps to determine when revenue/earnings can be recognised, and importantly how much capital is required to complete

      Best of luck.
