BTS reports FY2014 net profit of Bt12.6bn, up 635%, on a surge in total revenues of Bt23.3bn. Passenger numbers reached 214 million for the year. This year it targets passenger growth of 5-8% supported by the full year opening of new stations on the Silom line. (Khao Hoon, 26/05/14)

Comment: If you want a pure play on the BTS skytrain then the IFF BTSGIF is the way to go, but if you want to play the skytrain + media + a little bit of property then have a look @ BTS, its yielding nearly 9% now

Grammy grabs concert hall – GMM Grammy has acquired the rights to manage CentralWorld’s concert hall at an investment cost of Bt400mn. The plan is to accommodate at least 200 events a year. The first shows will begin in late 2014. (Bangkok Post 26/05/14)

Raising capital — PERM’s management said the company will increase capital to expand its business to carbon steel pipe as it believes it will receive large orders from alternative energy plants and government projects. It expects 2Q14 earnings to surge after posting a loss of Bt86.90mn in 2Q13. It said one big retail development had put in a long-term order for three months. (Tun Hoon, 26/05/14)
