Backlog Bt6.09bn after signing a contract with EGAT and EA. It expects to book more than Bt4.5bn in revenue in 2Q15-4Q15. It plans to bid for more government projects. It is confident revenue will grow to Bt6bn as targeted. (Khao Hoon, 20/05/15)
Comment: Demco’s earnings are solid for the next few years without any issue, but the key upside is the if/when WEH can be listed.

ESSO
Investors from European oil company dealing to buy ESSO stock from a fund, taking 7.34% or 283.75mn shares for Bt12/share. The deal is expected to be concluded soon. The company believes business will trend up this year. (Thun Hoon, 20/05/15)
Comment: Well the replacement value of ESSO is approximately 12-14 baht/share, but I still have my doubts that ESSO will sell this company just yet, it’s been in the rumour mill for the past 6 years

EARTH
US$100mn loan approved by KTB. Management says coal sales in China grew to 5mn tons which will lift its 2015 sales to 10mn tons. 2Q15 profit will continue to rise. (Khao Hoon, 20/05/15)

FER
CEO says FER plans to invest in varied businesses such as energy, oil leak camera detectors, nano-finance and online games. Its expects earnings to jump in 2016 although 1Q15 earnings showed net loss of Bt58.49mn. (Khao Hoon, 20/05/15)

GUNKUL
GUNKUL held US road show on May 13–9 with good response from investors. The company will go to Japan for a road show May 21-22. 2H profit is expected to outperform with 50% revenue growth. (ASTV, 20/05/15)
Comment: A more complete version of DEMCO but in the past earnings have been far more volatile

HEMRAJ
2Q15 revenue expected to climb 20% supported by increasing land sales. It targets sales of 1,400 rai this year as demand recovers. (Khao Hoon, 20/05/15)
Comment: Why would anyone consider HEMRAJ when its likely to be swallowed up by WHA? for the potential 27% dividend yield it may pay out.

KKP
KKP expects 2015 non-interest income of Bt6bn as the economy recovers. It expects 2015 NPLs of 6%. The company introduces new product “KK Smart Invest” to expand its market. (Thun Hoon, 20/05/15)

MCS
1Q15 revenue was Bt902.75mn (+213.33% YoY) with net profit Bt191.28mn, or 376.43% growth. Management says MCS is preparing to construct a sports stadium in Japan. It targets 2015 revenue at Bt10bn. (ASTV, 20/05/15)
Comment: A solid company that is still a more cost-effective solution for Japanese clients

SMT
MD says 2015 performance will turn to positive from net loss of Bt110mn last year. (Khao Hoon, 20/05/15)
Comment: SMT used to be a darling back in the day when they were making parts of the blackberry smart phones.

SUPER
Expects to generate 500MW electricity and recognize revenue in 2Q15. SUPER plans to invest in a biomass power plant. It has budgeted Bt700mn to take 15.7% of GENCO. (Khao Hoon, 20/05/15)

TICON
Plans JV with Indonesian and Japanese companies with budget of Bt400mn to set up a firm to build international-quality warehouses and factories for lease to the automobile, electronics, consumer products, logistics and other industries. The total development covers 146,000sqm with 2,160sqm in the first phase, with 80% occupancy. Next year, it plans to expand to Myanmar and Vietnam, aiming to increase international revenue to 25% in five years. (Bangkokbiznews, 20/05/15)

TMB

TRT
TRT expects to have net profit in 2Q15 after losses in 1Q15. It targets revenue of Bt2.6-2.7bn in 2015. It expects revenue of Bt5bn in 2019. (Khao Hoon, 20/05/15)
Comment: QTC and TRT were both hurt by the decline in government spending during the past 6 months.

UWC
UWC budgeting Bt500mn to invest in power plant of at least 350MW within 2016. It is negotiating to invest in renewable energy, generated by water, wind, sunlight and biomass. It expects to have capacity of 350MW. In 2016, the company will spend Bt30bn, 30% from internal cash flow and 70% from loans. (Post Today, 20/5/15)
