Commentary:

The past week has been terrible for all sectors because of the flood crisis in Thailand continuing with no signs of it abating, more industrial estates are affected, and fears that the water volumes will have to be released via Bangkok in order to reach the Chao Phraya river resulted in a large drop specifically for the property sector.

Once the full circumstances of the impact of the flood are known we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Industrials sector recovery sharply given Thailand’s strong logistic capabilities within the region and its importance to several multinational companies (i.e. Toyota, Honda) as a hub for car manufacturing within SE Asia.
