ADVANC announced that it holds 40 MHz on Super Block 1800 MHz which speeded up 4G by 1530% on mobile phones. One third of its customers are using 4G service. It expects to start the Super Block service in September. It says it has the most frequency spectrum in the industry. (Kao Hoon, 21/8/18)

CPN is preparing to make a tender offer for GLAND shares for Bt3.5 per share after BBL approved its loan. It expects growth in 2H18. It plans to set up two department stores and will book revenue from a condominium, supporting revenue growth of 20% this year. (Kao Hoon, 21/8/18)

GULF
GULF expects to sign the construction contract for a 300MW power plant in Oman in August. It will gradually start commercial operations six SPP power plants in 2H18 and 2019 with total capacity of 474MW. (Kao Hoon, 21/8/18)
NINE
NINE price has shot up to ceiling for two days after the board approved private placement of 220.5mn shares to foreign and Thai investors at a price of Bt1.4 per share. The proceeds of Bt308mn will increase the liquidity in its pocketbook, comic books and newspaper business. It will hold an EGM on Oct 8. (Kao Hoon, 21/8/18)

SSP
SSP is concluding 2-3 power plant projects both at home and abroad, with conclusion this year. It expects 2H18 to be good. It continues to operate new power plants with total capacity of 90MW this year. (Thun Hoon, 21/8/18)
Comment: And as is the case for all the renewable players in Thailand, they can’t rely upon the domestic market anymore and have to focus on international projects
TASCO
TASCO expects asphalt sales to grow YoY in 2H18 supported by demand recovery and government infrastructure investment. (Kao Hoon, 21/8/18)
TKS
TKS expects to receive the ballot printing job backed by its readiness. It expects 2H18 results will be better HoH. It expects 2Q18 revenue to reach Bt2.3bn with current backlog of Bt700mn. (Thun Hoon, 21/8/18)
TMB
Investors dumped TMB shares, leading price to fall by 3.57% after rumors of transactions in Turkey and a drop in loan growth. TMB clarified that it has no investment in any government or corporate bonds in Turkey. (Kao Hoon, 21/8/18)
WHAUP
WHAUP is setting up a solar rooftop project and expects to complete the 2.6MW project in 3Q18. It expects to sign contracts for total capacity of 10 MW this year. It received a job from Electrolux to set up a 0.5MW solar rooftop. (Kao Hoon, 21/8/18)
