BANPU confirms that the flood in China won’t impact sales volume and will actually help increase demand for coal to replace hydropower that is lost. The company expects sales volume of 45mn tons with much of the sales having been sold in forward contracts already. The share price has been plummeting for seven days straight, down 11%. Comment: This litigation has been ongoing for years. A brief skim of the documents does indicate BANPU is at fault.

BAY
BAY is confident retail load growth will beat the 7-8% target in 2017. Loans in the last six months have grown 4%. The company does not expect the new BoT regulations to limit credit cards and personal loans will impact its business. The company is preparing a strategy for 2018 to maintain revenue growth. ILINK
ILINK is expected a strong 2Q17 as all business segments are seeing healthy growth. It expects 2017 revenue to grow 15-20%. It announced interest in participating in the project to place power and telecommunication lines underground, but still needs more clarity. (Thun Hoon, 07/07/2017)

TAPAC
TAPAC is being restructured into a holding company, expected to finish in 2018. The company is looking to expand its real estate business in Sweden and Thailand.
