Banks are done, next is the rest of the market. Thoughts on their earnings? Meh. Those that provisioned heavily and early (i.e. KBANK) looked great, those that didn’t, basically the rest of them, looked rubbish. Note the loan growth figures…tepid.
I’m seeing more places close permanently on my weekend drives (~within 250 km from bkk north east west south). Not looking forward to only getting only Amazon/Starbucks coffee in the future. But those are the type of companies that are going to continue to win.
Note the commodity space in the coming weeks, will be interesting to see if the (YoY) higher soft and hard commodity prices are going to have an impact on the share prices.
Note the debt collectors, JMT and CHAYO back to highs.
