Comment: BIGC themselves admit that Thailand is no longer a growing retail market, it has all the hallmarks of a developed retail market and the only focus that they have is cost cutting cost cutting cost cutting.

BKD

CHO
The BMTA board has examined the 489 NGV bus project and has determined there was no corruption. CHO expects to sign the contract in August. (Khao Hoon, 27/07/15)

COLOR
COLOR maintains its revenue target growth of 4-5% this year. It expects 1H15 revenue to achieve its target backed by a more customers at home and abroad. It targets exports to comprise 21% of revenue. (Khao Hoon, 27/07/15)

CPF
CPF targets revenue from overseas to reach 75% of total revenue within 5 years. It is confident 2015 revenue will hit target of 10%. It has acquired S&W, a Bt23bn chicken company in Russia which is expected to contribute revenue from 4Q15. It plans to acquire a meat processing company in Russia. (Khao Hoon, 27/07/15)

DELTA

EARTH expects stable revenue growth over the rest of the year thanks to a large order from abroad. It expects 2015 sales of 10mn tons. (Khao Hoon, 27/07/15)

GC
GC says it has done a currency hedge to ensure no impact from the baht depreciation. It expects 2Q15 earnings to be better than 1Q15 thanks to numerous orders and new products that are expected to contribute to a rise of 8-10% in sales. (Thun Hoon, 27/07/15)
Comment: Was a small favourite back in the day and they’ve always been active in protecting their currency exposure.

GPSC
GPSC has signed MoU with PTT and PMMA to study and develop public utilities for thermoplastic plant. (Khao Hoon, 27/07/15)

KTB
KTB says provisions are sufficient and it sees no need for extra provisions over the rest of the year. In the case of SSI U.K., the company has already made complete provisions. It expects NPLs to decrease and loans to the property and petrochemical sectors to increase. (Khao Hoon, 27/07/15)

KTP
Local and foreign investors are interested in KTP shares. Management expects to wipe out retained losses of Bt1.22bn within 2017. Comment: The stock price was running up yesterday as a result of this news. It’s been one poorly managed property company the better part of the past decade, I’m not too sure that there’s anything new management or shareholders that will change this.

MTLS
MTLS revised 2015 net profit and revenue growth to 50% from 30% as 2Q15 loan growth was 50% with lower NPLs. It expects lower interest rate to reduce cost of funding. (Thun Hoon, 27/07/15)

PLANB
PLANB expects 2H15 performance to be good on high ad revenues. It expects to get a job to manage media in airports, which is expected to be cleared in 3Q15. It plans to acquire media companies in Indonesia and Malaysia and plans to talk with partners in two months. (Thun Hoon, 27/07/15)

SAMART
SAMART expects 2Q15 profit to drop to Bt257mn (-38%) affected by a 69% drop in SIM’s net profit and a 29% drop in SAMTEL’s net profit. (Khao Hoon, 27/07/15)
Comment: Finally the impact of SIM that I’ve been banging on about has finally come to fruition, SAMART is still a decent group of companies but I think its listed subs may offer better value.

TGPRO
Investors are interested in TGPRO shares and have bought 50mn shares. Management says it does not plan to sell shares but partners are welcome. It expects to join power plant bids, targeting 8MW this year. It expects 2015 revenue to grow 30% supported by government investment projects. (Thun Hoon, 27/07/15)

TLUXE
TLUXE expects to show net profit this year with revenue of Bt3bn as targeted, backed by feed orders from Nutrix. It is budgeting Bt600mn to invest in alternative energy next year. (Khao Hoon, 27/07/15)

TPCH
Its managing committee on power generation from renewable energy has approved the purchase of 163MW electricity from eight projects. Subsidiary Pattani Green got 21MW. (Khao Hoon, 27/07/15)

TVO expects 2Q15 earnings to be better than 1Q15’s Bt497.51mn thanks to increase in exports which it expects to contribute 10-15% this year from 7%. It expects gross margin of 13% on a decrease in soy pulp price. (Thun Hoon, 27/07/15)
