Comment: The stock price was running up yesterday as a result of this news. It’s been one poorly managed property company the better part of the past decade, I’m not too sure that there’s anything new management or shareholders that will change this.

MTLS revised 2015 net profit and revenue growth to 50% from 30% as 2Q15 loan growth was 50% with lower NPLs. It expects lower interest rate to reduce cost of funding. (Thun Hoon, 27/07/15)

Comment: Finally the impact of SIM that I’ve been banging on about has finally come to fruition, SAMART is still a decent group of companies but I think its listed subs may offer better value.

Investors are interested in TGPRO shares and have bought 50mn shares. Management says it does not plan to sell shares but partners are welcome. It expects to join power plant bids, targeting 8MW this year. It expects 2015 revenue to grow 30% supported by government investment projects. (Thun Hoon, 27/07/15)
