BAFS anticipates positive 2Q earnings growth YoY, driven by a 6% increase in jet refueling volume amid strong air traffic from the EU and South Asia. The company maintains full-year revenue growth target of 9% to above Bt3.8bn, with sales volume forecast to rise 7% to 5.4bn liters. Key clients include carriers from Thailand, India, South Korea, Japan, and China. The Eastern Pipeline Project remains on track for COD in 2026, with transmission volume expected to rise to 2.43bn liters by FY27, up from 1.29bn liters currently (via BPT – BAFS Pipeline Transportation).
Comment: Well that is an interesting stat and it goes against the currency narative of negative tourism growth. We’ll have to go through the numbers and see whether this is a function of cargo volume + # of flights or something else.
OSP launches M-150 Energy Strawberry Sorbet, an energy drink-inspired ice cream.
Comment: OSP you’re making it difficult for us to take you as a serious company. What rubbish is this? “OSP is a leading innovation company, we make energy strawberry sorbet drinks” How does management sleep at night? Someone take them out back and knock some sense back into them.
TASCO expects a strong HoH earnings rebound, supported by wider margins on asphalt sales as oil prices decline. Sales volume is also set to accelerate, with Bt29bn from the Department of Highways and Bt14.7bn from the Department of Rural Roads scheduled for disbursement by fiscal year-end in September.
Comment: OPEC increased “supply” for oil => oil prices down => margins for TASCO up. Now just throw in a government budget in the coming 1-2 months and lets see
