DCC expects 1Q17 performance to be good on seasonally higher demand. It expects 2017 revenue to grow 10% on more clients. It is budgeting Bt400mn to open more branches. (Thun Hoon, 08/02/17)
Comment: If you just sit down and go through their statements you’d be amazed by their ratios. This company has one of the highest ROE’s in the market
 
DTC
DTC board approved setting up a JV, Dusit Colour, in Japan which will be a vehicle to expand its hotel business abroad. It will hold 49% with a total investment of Bt1.5mn. (Kao Hoon, 08/02/17)

GIFT
GIFT targets 2017 revenue growth of 15-20% and expects its OEM portion to increase. It is negotiating with parties for both downstream and upstream businesses with some results expected in 2Q17. (Kao Hoon, 08/02/17)

KCM
KCM targets One-Stop service business to contribute over Bt100mn in revenue. It plans to set up 10 outlets. It expects to book about Bt12mn in rental revenue this year. It is building a warehouse at Khon Kaen which it expects to be ready to use soon. (Thun Hoon, 08/02/17)
MK
MK plans to launch five projects with total value of Bt5.4bn. It is budgeting Bt4bn for project development and acquiring land. It has just launched “Park Court” and expects this to increase its rental revenue to 50%. It plans to begin building before selling. (Thun Hoon, 08/02/17)
Comment: So the new shareholder just decided to buy the company to continue doing property projects..
 
MONO
MONO’s ratings have risen 1-2% thanks to its movies and live sports. It expects to increase ad rate by 40-50% this year from Bt20,000/min last year. It plans to air Thai series in CLMV. (Thun Hoon, 08/02/17)
SGP
SGP targets LPG sales to grow 5-10% this year. It is budgeting Bt200-300mn to invest in a port and LPG plant in Malaysia, with construction to start in March 2017. It is studying investment in biomass and solar farm which has a good return on investment. (Thun Hoon, 08/02/17)
TASCO
TASCO expects to benefit from higher price of asphalt after refinery plants in Korea cut production at the same time that demand is rising in Indonesia and China. It expects 2017 net profit of Bt2.9bn. (Thun Hoon, 08/02/17)
Comment: And if oil prices decline again, then the spread will widen and they’ll have the high margins that we were last year.
 
TK
TK plans to expand its customer base abroad to where it comprises 50% within 2020 from the current 2%. It plans to expand to ASEAN after setting up branches in Cambodia and Laos. It plans to launch a new campaign as a reward for clients. (Thun Hoon, 08/02/17)
