GIFT

Comment: This company actually has quite an interesting chemical products distribution business and the growth in margins had come from the expansion into beauty related products.

HFT
HFT expects 2015 revenue to mark a record high (+35%). It expects 3Q15 earnings to be good backed by numerous orders, a higher margin of 30% from the new plant, 7-8% weakening in the baht, and cost control. It plans to broaden its customer base in anticipation of economic recovery. It expects 2016 earnings to reach a new high. (Thun Hoon, 06/11/15)

HMPRO
HMPRO expects 4Q15 earnings to be the best of this year on the back of seasonality. It expects 2015 revenue growth to achieve target of 10-15% from last year’s Bt51bn aided by high demand. It has budgeted Bt120mn to hold HMPRO Expo. (Thun Hoon, 06/11/15)

JSP

KIAT

ORI

TAKUNI
TAKUNI reported 3Q15 net profit of Bt24mn (+353%) backed by revenue from construction. 9M15 net profit was Bt59mn. (Khao Hoon, 06/11/15)

UTP
UTP is hastening the construction of a 12MW combined cycle power plant, expecting to startup in 2Q16 rather than 2H16. This will increase capacity by 35% to 250,000-260,000 tons/year and contribute revenue immediately after startup. It expects 2016 revenue to be better than this year’s, which is close to 2014’s Bt199.41mn. (Thun Hoon, 06/11/15)

    I have posted I hold on this forum before, yes through the thick and thin, however there have been 4 good months of buying opportunities which has been helpful.
    Not my best investment but long term hold should be rewarding.

    • It’s an interesting company and the valuation isn’t so challenging right now, I still need to do more homework on it, but their locations appear to be very popular with domestic tourists and local businesses (ex bangkok that is)
