GL is in a difficult situation after the Court of Appeals of Singapore ordered a temporary suspension of GL’s asset divestment as requested by J Trust Asia. GLH as well as GL’s global subsidiaries are forbidden to dispose of assets worth up to US$180mn. This could have a sharp effect on GL’s revenue. (Kao Hoon, 5/6/18)

Comment: The issue for a company such as TICON is that it can only scale so far.
TISCO Financial Group will book extra income of Bt3.5bn in 2Q18 after selling its personal loan portfolio to Citibank Credit Card. Another Bt2.6bn in its personal loans will be transferred this year.
