AMATA maintains its target land sales of 925 rai this year although it sold just 100 rai in 1H18. It says this is due to seasonality. Management said it is dealing with customers in China and Europe to sell more than 100 rai of land to each. It plans to increase land price no less than 5% and expects earnings to grow YoY, backed by income from the power business. It will do a joint venture for the natural gas business. TSE will start up a 17.6MW biomass power plant in August. It expects 2H18 earnings to be strong. Management is studying a power plant project abroad and expects to make a deal soon. It will book an extra gain of Bt400-500mn from selling TSEO shares in 3Q18. (Thun Hoon, 20/7/18)
