ALLA

BTS
BTS has three pieces of good news: Expected contract signing for Yellow and Pink lines in March-April 2017, startup of operations for the North Green and South Green lines this year and the onset of revenue booked from its JV property project. CK
CK plans to bid for all projects opened for bidding in 2017. It expects to get new jobs worth no less than Bt30bn. This will expand its backlog from Bt71bn currently, out of which it will book earnings through 2018. It targets 2017 revenue of Bt35bn. COM7
COM7 expects 4Q16 to record a new high, supported by high season and government stimulus. It targets 500 branches in 2017. It is negotiating with retailers and plans to expand to other IT business to support future growth. (Thun Hoon, 08/12/16)

Comment: One of the best performers this year *smack head against the wall* used to be a darling of ours, didn’t believe that the market would be pricing in all this growth that won’t be achieved for … 5-6 years .. now. Oh well.
 

GTB
GTB is confident that 2016 revenue will hit its growth target of 8% backed by its backlog of Bt527mn. It continues to apply for rights to sell more products, most recently in AEC, and plans to set up a sales office in Malaysia with a partner this year. (Kao Hoon, 08/12/16)

MSC
MSC targets 2017 revenue growth of 5-7% supported by its trading business and IT service. It will focus on automobiles and bank customers. It has budgeted Bt30mn to improve technology and expects to maintain margin at 15%. (Thun Hoon, 08/12/16)
PAP
PAP expects 2016 earnings to be good supported by higher steel price. It reported 9M16 profit of Bt453mn, up from the loss in the same period last year. It expects steel price to continue rising through next year and plans to deal with a foreign partner to do all BTS Lines and projects. PLANB

QLT
QLT expects 2017 revenue growth of 10% from this year, supported by more jobs. It plans to add to its customers in Thailand and abroad. It believes a cut in production by OPEC will support the energy industry in the long term. (Thun Hoon, 08/12/16)
SAWAD
SAWAD plans to buy debt from bank worth Bt3bn and plans to issue a Bt5bn debenture to refinance, support loan growth and invest in Myanmar. It plans to diversify its business to invest in Vietnam and Cambodia. It is confident that 2016 loans will grow 45% and it will control bad debt to no more than 3.2%. (Kao Hoon, 08/12/16)

SINGER
SINGER expects 2017 earnings to be good supported by continued growth in its business. It plans to launch new loans next year. It plans to list a subsidiary on the market. It expects staff numbers to rise to 10,000 this year to support its business expansion. (Thun Hoon, 08/12/16)
Comment: With all this government subsidies to consumers and farmers, I wouldn’t be surprised to see SINGER show a decent 4Q, but again the question will come with what happens next year with this artificial support is done
SOLAR
SOLAR expects 4Q16 earnings to continue to grow after it handed projects over to customers. It plans to bid for new jobs. It expects 2017 revenue to higher than this year’s Bt1.5- 1.6bn. It plans to expand business in ASEAN. (Thun Hoon, 08/12/16)

TPCH expects 2016 revenue to grow 200% thanks to booking revenue from the COD of 40MW power plant. It expects business to continue to grow in 2017 and plans to bid for a waste and biomass power plant next year. (Kao Hoon, 08/12/16)
