COM7
COM7 expects 4Q16 to be good supported by high season and the launch of iPhone 7 today plus a new product from Apple soon. It expects these to raise 2016 revenue to Bt17bn. It has budgeted Bt280mn to expand outlets, for marketing and rebranding. It expects 2017 revenue growth of 10%, supported by online business. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)

DCON
DCON plans to expand to Cambodia; more details will be forthcoming next year. It expects 2016 revenue of Bt1.1bn, supported by customer expansion. It has sold the land surrounding its factory in Lopburi for Bt142mn and expects to transfer ownership in 4Q17, which will support its overall business. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)
Comment: I do wonder how much of an impact the expansion of companies like DRT and DCON to the neighbouring are really going to have on their financials
 
DCORP
DCORP plans to construct the first phase of a solar farm in the Philippines with capacity of 90-100MW; more details can be expected this year. It has cash in hand of Bt700mn and plans to issue a Bt2bn debenture. It expects to turn around this year. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)

DRT
DRT expects 2016 earnings growth of no less than 8%, exceeding its target thanks to export sales growth of 20%. It plans to expand to China and India and to set up factories in Myanmar and Cambodia with partners, raising the proportion of revenue from abroad. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)

DTAC
DTAC reports 3Q16 net profit of Bt658mn, down 46%YoY because of higher depreciation and amortization. This dragged 9M16 net profit down to Bt2.05bn. (Kao Hoon, 21/10/16)
EKH
EKH is confident that 2H16 earnings will be good supported by high season and cooperation with BH to expand its customers. It expects 2016 revenue growth of 12-15%. It will construct a new building in 2Q17. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)
IVL
IVL will issue a Bt5bn debenture, priced at Bt1,000 per unit to institutional investors and major shareholders. It will use the fund to repay its current debenture and as working capital. (Kao Hoon, 21/10/16)
JMART
JMART expects 4Q16 earnings to be good thanks to seasonality and the launch of iPhone7. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 30% from last year’s Bt9.97bn. It plans to open more branches. It expects to benefit from its subsidiary’s good performance. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)
KTC
KTC reported 3Q16 net profit of Bt639mn, up 28.25%. NPLs decreased to 1.86% and credit card spending grew 14.2%. (Kao Hoon, 21/10/16)
Comment: This profit growth has astounded me, I wasn’t expecting more than 10% at best. 
 
MILL
MILL plans to enter a joint venture in Vietnam. More details will be provided soon. It expects to make precut steel with a will focus on the Myanmar market. It expects 2016 orders to be more than 900k tons and bring revenue and profit to target. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)
MODERN
MODERN is talking to interested parties both at home and abroad to invest in the healthcare business, with some progress to be made this year. It expects to sign a contract to set up a subsidiary in Cambodia in November. It expects 2H16 performance to be better than 1H16. It is planning its 2017 strategy; it plans to restructure into a holding company. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)
Comment: If you look at their performance over the last decade you would be impressed by how management has been able to quietly continue to perform in Thailand despite the obviously tough industry that they operate in.
 
NEP
NEP expects a turnaround after increasing capital with a rights offering of 965.52mn shares, which was entirely taken. It plans to use the funds to expand and focus on high margin products. It is confident that earnings will turn to profit and make it able to write off retained losses soon. It plans to diversify into related business and renewable energy. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)
PAF
PAF expects performance to turn around after its board approved wiping out retained losses. It expects its five subsidiaries to show a net profit. It signed contracts with clients in the US (KEEN brand) and India. It plans to add more customers and expand its product line to plastic parts for the auto industry. It says its organic farming unit is doing well and expects clients in Japan, Singapore, and Germany to order soon. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)
RJH
RJH is studying investment in solar rooftop to lower its electricity cost. It expects 2016 revenue to grow 10-15% from last year thanks to more clients. It plans to renovate its building in order to handle long term growth in demand. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)
SPVI
SPVI will launch iPhone7 and iPhone7 Plus today. It expects a good response in view of the high demand. It expects this to bring its 4Q16 to a record high. It expects 2016 revenue to hit its target of Bt2bn. It expects its performance to recover next year. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)

TK
TK expects growth in 4Q16 earnings on seasonality. It expects higher purchasing power after increasing agricultural prices. It expects 2016 loans to grow more than 5%. It plans to expand to Cambodia and Laos. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)
TRC
TRC got a new project which has raised its backlog from Bt5.7bn. It expects this to raise its revenue. It is confident it has strong capital after associating with CIMB from China in order to support its capital. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)
TSE
TSE expects 2H16 performance to be good after the solar farm in Japan and solar roof in on cooperative units began operations, increasing total capacity to 110MW. It is talking to a party in the Philippines about investing in the power business and expects a decision soon. It plans to increase its capacity in Japan to 200MW. (Thun Hoon, 21/10/16)
