Earnings announcement this week — BLAND will announced is 3Q12 earnings this week and profits are expected to reach Bt2bn, pushing its P/E to as low as 13x, with an EPS of Bt0.15. It will not be limited to cash balance after its P/E has dropped significantly and trading volume this week is limited to no more than Bt2bn. In the meantime, K. Anan Kanjanapart is said to have bought 6mn shares. (Khao Hoon, 12/02/13)

Comment: We’ve commented/joked about this stock enough of the past few months since K. Anan begun buying shares under his name in a big way.

KTC

Asserts expansion capital no problem — KTC says that the company has sufficient capital to fund its expansion. It plans to issue a bond of in a range of Bt7-10bn in 3Q13. It targets 2013 revenue growth of at least 10% with market share of 15-20%. (Khao Hoon, 12/02/13)

Comment: Loved the turnaround story of this company, surprised no one picked it up in the forums :p 

PRIN

Bt3bn revenue target — PRIN targets revenue of Bt3.3bn in 2013. It plans to launch seven projects worth Bt6bn. Currently, PRIN has Bt1.8bn backlog on hand, all of which will be booked this year. It expects to raise its selling prices 6-7% in response to higher costs. 2012 results will be released on 27 February, 2013. (Tun Hoon, 12/02/13)

PTT

World’s first acrylonitrile plant commences operations — PTT, Asahi Kasei Chemicals and Marubeni today jointly opened the world’s first acrylonitrile plant in Thailand to produce raw materials for plastic and acrylic fibre manufacturing. Using propane as feedstock, this plant is expected to reduce Thailand’s imports. (The Nation, 12/2/13)

SC

SC Asset earmarks Bt12bn for land purchases, new projects — SC Asset Corp, a property arm of the Shinawatra family, has set aside Bt12bn for building up a land bank and developing 13 residential projects worth Bt20bn this year. (The Nation, 12/2/13)

Comment: Their growth has been staggering, valuations as always have us worried, and the fact that their properties are mimicking sansiri’s and noble’s i.e. fully sold out but no one living there. 

SINGER

SINGER to expand to Myanmar — Singer plans to expand to Myanmar. It aims to grow 20% YoY in 2013. It says 2012 growth was 15% YoY and it release 2012 financial results at the end of February. (Tun Hoon, 12/02/13)

TOG

Sets revenue growth target of 15% — TOG target revenues this year to grow 15% and plans to expand in Australia, New Zealand and US. Its 2012 earnings will be released after its board meeting on 20th February and it expects to post a turnaround profit of Bt180mn. (Khao Hoon, 12/02/13)

Comment: Another early pick from way back in ’06 when they IPO’ed, the problem for TOG is that they have to constantly innovate to purely maintain their market position

    The dividend season is fast approaching…is it possible for you to list the companies on a permanent basis that are supposedly big dividend payers or list the website where we can check for the higher dividend paying stocks? Maybe you could add this list permanently on your website as it would help us dividend geeks a lot. I believe many of your readers are dividend stock holders/investors too. I do two types of investing___Value investing and Dividend investing and most of the information regarding dividends is fairly lacking and difficult to come by. I appreciate any help you can give.

      Sorry I missed this comment.

      Normally the brokerage firms sent out data on dividends for the companies that they gave, another source you can look @ is Setsmart, its an information database compiled by the SET and it can be purchased online.
