Kiatnakin Bank aims to reduce NPLs to be no more than 4.5%, focusing on the quality of the property segment .Mr .Apinan Klewpatinond, CEO of Kiatnakin Bank, said non-performing loans )NPLs (in the first quarter were 4.7%, down from 5 %at the end of last year .This came from the expansion of its loan portfolio, resolution of some existing NPLs and write-offs of some unsecured loans; it did not sell NPLs because the bank specializes in debt management and collateral. Comment: I’m still of the viewpoint that this is isn’t the time to buy any financial co in Thailand (ex MTC or SAWAD perhaps..)

“Maybank” pushes micro margin . Comment: Micro margin? Well…they will have to do something, their revenues are continually declining and profits are dropping at a faster rate.
