Comment: I still have my doubts over MC’s organic growth, every bit of growth for them has to come via acquisitions and expansions.

RS to book Bt309mn from World Cup rights in 3Q14. This will lead to a QoQ doubling in profit in 3Q14. Management said Channel 8 is going strong with more ad revenue because of its strong ratings. (Thun Hoon, 26/08/14)

Comment: Similar to AIT, business will undoubtedly improve with a government in place. 
SINGER
SINGER cuts revenue target 5-10% in response to the political clouds. However, management is confident that NPLs will not exceed 5.5% despite the unfavourable economic condition. SINGER has a plan to spent Bt400-500mn on an M&A. (Thai Post, 26/08/14)
Comment: Is this going to be the end of growth for SINGER? They’ve done incredible well since 2009 when they improved management and its overall business strategy, the past 2 years have seen them use their distribution channels very well with new product lines, but is the market that they target tapped out?
THAI
Gen Prayuth to pump liquidity into THAI through Bt20bn loan. The acting deputy director said he is confident that THAI will not generate a loss of more than Bt1.2bn. (Kao Hoon, 26/08/14)
