AIT is to sign a new contract worth Bt594mn in the next 1-2 months. The company is also anticipating other biddings worth Bt495mn for government and private sector projects with an expected success rate of 60%. EPG is working on an M&A that it expects to be finalized next year. It believes this will provide sustainable growth. It expects to be a beneficiary of the drop in oil price to US$46/barrel since this will lower costs. It plans to hold a roadshow in Singapore to attract foreign investors. SCC setting up “Add Ventures” which will use a “corporate venture capital” (CVC) platform. It expects this to increase its competitiveness as well as foster innovation. It is budgeting Bt2-3bn for this new venture over the next five years. (Thun Hoon, 9/6/17)

SUSCO expects 2017 sales to hit Bt20bn (5% growth) from last year’s Bt19bn. It expects sales volume to increase 8% to 1mn liters on a 14-15% growth in exports to CLMV plus growth in jet fuel. It is budgeting Bt300mn for station expansion to support revenue. (Thun Hoon, 9/6/17)

TSR reports outstanding sales in Apr-May 2017 from the summer and rainy season. It expects robust earnings in 2Q17 and is launching a new campaign “Pon Sabuy” (Easy Installments). It is also increasing its distribution channels with an eye to supporting its water filter business. It targets 2017 revenue to hit Bt2bn. (Thun Hoon, 9/6/17)
Comment: We shall see if this really is the case when 2Q #’s are reported

WICE expects 2Q17 performance to grow on the back of higher revenue on seasonality. It recently got a Bt60mn project from a Chinese customer. It forecasts 2017 revenue to reach Bt1.3bn, the highest in 24 years. It is talking to 2-3 prospective partners in China and Hong Kong, and expects talks to be finalized this year. (Thun Hoon, 9/6/17)
Comment: They do seem to really want to make another acquisition which is required in order for them to maintain the current valuation
