NDR
NDR expects 2Q16 earnings will be good supported by the good response to its new product “air lock”. It targets 2016 sales growth of 25% from 2015. It plans to expand its business in Thailand and abroad. The BOI approved its solar roof project. It expects to start operating in 2H16. This will reduce electricity cost by 10%. (Thun Hoon, 16/5/16)

PLANB
PLANB reported 1Q16 net profit of Bt61.6mn, growth of 13.4%. It plans to expand its media business. (Kao Hoon, 16/5/16)
Comment: That is a relative disappointing given the expectations that management had given to the market.
 
RATCH
RATCH plans to increase capacity after fuel price and global economies are less volatile. It expects to have a clear picture in 3Q16. It plans to acquire a power plant abroad to support revenue. It reported 1Q16 profit of Bt1.25bn, growth of 8% YoY, supported by booking revenue from electricity and reducing cost. (Thun Hoon, 16/5/16)
RS
RS expects 2016 revenue to reach Bt4.5bn or growth of 21%. It reported 1Q16 net profit of Bt106.9mn. (Kao Hoon, 16/5/16)
Comment: Their earnings did well on the back of events and not digital TV, with the industry still shaking out the weaker players this could still take a while. Just see Work below.
 
SUPER
SUPER reported 1Q16 net profit of Bt17.64mn, up from a net loss of Bt33.62 in 1Q15 backed by expansion and investing in the solar farm business since 2015. (Kao Hoon, 16/5/16)
TACC
TACC reported 1Q16 sales growth of 27%, with net profit of Bt23.9mn, up 46% YoY after it increased latte outlets to 5,000 outlets nationwide. It is confident that 2016 revenue will exceed its target of 15%. (Thun Hoon, 16/5/16)
TASCO
TASCO reported 1Q16 profit of Bt1.18bn, up from Bt1.12bn in 1Q15, supported by government projects. It targets 2016 sales of 2.6-2.7 million tons. It is acquiring businesses in Indonesia and Vietnam to support orders in Thailand. (Thun Hoon, 16/5/16)
TCC
TCC is ready to invest in a new business after becoming a holding company. It plans to take over a food business with the deal expected to conclude in 2Q16. It bought a coalmine in Indonesia and is negotiating with 2 new customers. (Thun Hoon, 16/5/16)
TFG
TFG reported revenue of Bt4.4bn or growth of 8.3% and net profit of Bt200mn in 1Q16 compare with net loss of Bt480mn in 1Q15. It plans to expand its market in Thailand and abroad. It expects revenue growth of more than 15% this year. (Kao Hoon, 16/5/16)
Comment: A great turnaround but with 95% of profit being a revaluing of a company, it still has a long way to go..
 
TRUE
TRUE reported profit of Bt1.97bn and revenue of Bt20.8bn in 1Q16, backed by growth in its subsidiaries. It expects 2016 revenue will grow, supported by a rise in market share to 22% from 20.4 million customers. (Thun Hoon, 16/5/16)
Comment: And TRUE reported a profit of magical proportions! Asset reappraisels led to a profit of THB 1.97 bn w/o it…well..it would’ve been another THB 1 bn loss.
 
WHA
HEMRAJ brought WHA’s 1Q16 profit to approach Bt120mn from a loss of Bt4.5mn in 1Q15. It plans to sell more assets to an REIT and expects this to finish in November 2016. (Thun Hoon, 16/5/16)
WORK
WORK reported 1Q16 net profit of Bt28.73mn on total revenue of Bt546.74mn, an increase of 28%. (Kao Hoon, 16/5/16)
