ADVANC
ADVANC reported 1Q17 net profit of Bt7.69bn, down slightly from 1Q16’s Bt8bn. Service revenue was Bt31.36bn, up 4% YoY, with 40.6mn subscribers. AIS Fibre expanded its customer base to 373,900 subscribers. It expects 2017 revenue growth of 4-5%. (Thun Hoon, 28/04/17)
Comment: I do wonder when will this industry be overtaken by a clever start up that is just using the spectrum that is unused, oh yes its happening in Singapore already.
ATP30
ATP30 expects 1H17 performance to be good, with new clients and 100% renewal rate for existing clients. It plans to expand to the Eastern Seaboard. It targets 2017 revenue growth of 15%. (Thun Hoon, 28/04/17)
Comment: A fairly straightfwd business with a rather linear earnings/cashflow profile, growth will only come whenever they sign on new clients
 
CWT
CWT shareholders approved investing in a 9.6MW biomass power plant in Sa Kaew. This will add to its current capacity of 5MW. It plans to take part in bids for PPAs for waste power plants. It expects 1H17 performance to be good on orders from automakers and its power business. (Thun Hoon, 28/04/17)
EPCO
EPCO shareholders approved a stock dividend at a ratio 25 to 1 with a cash dividend of Bt0.04/share, XD on May 4. It plans to take part in bids for cooperative and government unit solar farms in May. GOLD
GOLD targets 2017 revenue to reach Bt13bn with presales of Bt18bn. It plans to launch 21 projects worth Bt21bn. Its shareholders approved a dividend policy of not less than 50% of net profit. (Kao Hoon, 28/04/17)
ITEL
ITEL expects 1Q17 net profit to grow 61% to Bt19mn, underwritten by networking and data centers. Its board gave the okay to split par to Bt0.5/share. (Kao Hoon, 28/04/17)

ORI
ORI plans to launch four condos worth Bt8.4bn on June 17. It is budgeting Bt100mn to launch a campaign “My Life My Origin” with the goal of enhancing its brand image. (Kao Hoon, 28/04/17)
Comment: This company has somehow sky rocketed in the past 12 months with its market cap now at THB 15 bn, despite the earnings being non-supportive yet
 
PTTEP
PTTEP reported 1Q17 net profit of Bt12.28bn brought by petroleum selling price of US$38. It is ready to take part in the renewal of the expired concession with cash on hand of US$4.44bn. (Kao Hoon, 28/04/17)
SENA
SENA will pay a stock dividend at 16 to 1 with a cash dividend of Bt0.00996/share, PD on May 25. It plans to expand into every segment of its market. It targets 2017 revenue to grow 20% to a record high. (Thun Hoon, 28/04/17)
Comment: Another property company that has been performing well over the past 2 years but with the earning supporting its increase in value.
 

SGF
SGF expects 2Q17 revenue to continue to grow after opening 18 outlets. It targets 60 branches at the end of this year. It is looking for an M&A and hopes to complete one deal in each quarter. It expects its loan portfolio to reach Bt2bn with lower NPLs. (Thun Hoon, 28/04/17)
T
T’s shareholder approved a change in company name to T Engineering Corporation. It targets 2017 revenue to reach Bt1bn brought by Bt500mn work on hand. It plans to take part in Bt7bn bids and expects to get 10% of the total. (Thun Hoon, 28/04/17)
TMI
TMI is confident in its strong fundamentals this year, undergirded by its products to extend battery life. It plans to take part in Suvarnabhumi phase 2 and other private and public projects worth Bt50mn. It expects 1H17 sales to be good. It targets 2017 revenue growth of not less than 20%. TPOLY
TPOLY expects 2017 revenue to grow not less than 10% supported by growth in construction, property and TPCH. Its shareholders approved a dividend of Bt0.01153/share. (Kao Hoon, 28/04/17)
Comment: The turnaround is well under way here. 
 
TRC
TRC is ready to construct the potash mine worth Bt34.1bn. It expects shareholders to approve the contract soon, with construction beginning in 2Q17 and operations in 2020. The mine’s total capacity will be 1.235mn ton/year. (Thun Hoon, 28/04/17)
  1. would be interesting to see if the rumours are true regarding Mobile LTE and the TOT spectrum…Dtac looks like it is getting backed into a corner for 2018…
