AKR expects 2017 performance to be good. It expects revenue to grow 50% on the back of public projects, alternative energy projects, BoI, and private investment, all of which are expected to increase demand for transformers. AP plans to launch 20 projects valued at Bt35bn in 3016. It plans to implement four strategies: quality, space design, knowledge and partners. It expects this to build up its brand differentiation. (Kao Hoon, 18/01/17)
Comment: I think there are estimates of some ~THB 350 bn worth of projects that are going to launched in the next 12 months. 
 
BBL
BBL expects its credit card business continue to grow and targets 2017 growth of 8% to 450,000 cards. Recently, it made a deal with Siriraj Hospital to launch credit Visa Platinum Rabbit card, which it expects to increase its customer base. (Kao Hoon, 18/01/17)
BIGC
BIGC expects steady growth in 1Q17. It is budgeting Bt350mn to launch a marketing campaign for Chinese New Year, which it expects to push up sales 15-20%. It targets 2017 revenue growth of 10% and plans to open more mini BIGC outlets. (Kao Hoon, 18/01/17)
Comment: The bump in bottom line likely came from the reduced selling of goods out of their backdoor to customers last year. 
 
BKD
BKD plans to take part in 20% margin projects to increase its earnings. Its backlog is Bt1.51.6bn of which 70% is expected to be booked in this year. (Thun Hoon, 18/01/17)
BM
BM plans to expand its business and set up a factory in Myanmar. It targets 2017 revenue growth of 20% and has budgeted Bt85mn to expand its factory. (Thun Hoon, 18/01/17)
BRR
BRR has filed for an infrastructure fund for its power plants with total capacity of 19.8MW. It expects to use this funding investing in plant for premium sugar. (Kao Hoon, 18/01/17)
Comment: Now which other sugar company can do this? BRR has been planning this 3-4 years or so if memory serves me correct. KSL is a possibility. What else?
 
DCON
DCON expects 2017 revenue to reach Bt1.1bn thanks to more customers and Bt140mn revenue from land transfers. It plans to extend its product line to precast, with operational startup in March. It says its plants in Surat Thani will not be affected by the flooding. (Thun Hoon, 18/01/17)
DIMET
DIMET has budgeted Bt100mn to invest in the power business. It is negotiating to acquire a solar farm in Japan, with progress expected at end end of this month. It plans to focus on power business both in Thailand and abroad. It is confident that earnings will turn around and expects to pay a dividend. (Thun Hoon, 18/01/17)
EPG
EPG expects 4QFY17 to be good, thanks to lower oil price, construction season and tourism. It targets 2017 FY revenue to reach Bt10bn thanks to numerous orders. (Thun Hoon, 18/01/17)
FSMART
FSMART is talking to a mobile operator in order to launch promotion via Boon Term top up machines, expects some progress in 1Q17. It expects this to increase its revenue from top up business to 94%. It is budgeting Bt700-800mn to set up more top up machines and drink machines. It plans to expand to the online business, which is expected to generate advertising and fee revenue. It expects to launch new 1-2 services this year. (Thun Hoon, 18/01/17)
Comment: Looks like the company is going from strength to strength. It’s a wonderful distribution network that they’ve built.
 
JMART
JMART plans to become a holding company. It targets 2017 revenue growth of 30%. It also has budgeted Bt7.7bn for business expansion. (Kao Hoon, 18/01/17)
LH
LH expects 2017 revenue to reach Bt34.1bn with backlog of Bt17bn, of which Bt10bn will be booked in this year. It plans to launch 12 projects with a total value of Bt14.9bn. (Kao Hoon, 18/01/17)
LPN
LPN plans to launch a Bt2.5bn condo, Lumpini Suite Petchburi-Makkasan, on Mar 21. It expects this to sell out in one day after it got bookings from 3,500 clients. (Kao Hoon, 18/01/17)
Comment: So the stock has had its nice little bump, now what’s next? Although it is nice to see that they can sell out projects within a day again. 
SIRI
SIRI launched a campaign “Early Move” to stimulate sales. This campaign includes a total of 59 projects – single homes, townhouses and condos – and is offering a discount of more than Bt2.5mn until March 31. (Thun Hoon, 18/01/17)
Comment: He’s buying his shares again, will the stock rise by 1-200% as it did last time he did this? Are they going to cut the marketing budget substantially like last time? Lets see how this unfolds
 
STEC
STEC’s backlog has reached its highest ever at Bt100bn. It expects this to provide 34% earnings growth for the next three years. It is waiting for five dual-track bids, valued at Bt100bn. (Thun Hoon, 18/01/17)
Comment: And they’ve done it without amassing any debt, simply amazing!
 
SUSCO
SUSCO plans to open 20 gas stations, increasing its total stations to 250 as targeted within this year. It expects this to increase sales by 8-10% to 1,200mn liters. It plans to open coffee shops with convenience stores in its gas stations to increase revenue. (Thun Hoon, 18/01/17)
Comment: The B grade PTG has received a lot of brokerage coverage this year, hence the pop in the share price. One could reasonable argue that it is cheap on a relative basis to PTG. 
 
TMB
TMB expects SME loans to inch up this year as it takes greater care in extending loans as the economy begins its recovery. It targets revenue from SME business to grow 10-15% by focusing on extra services. It is cooperating with Alibaba Group and Ready Planet to provide new online transaction services.
