AOT Norse Atlantic Airways announced a significant expansion of its Thailand winter schedule, adding new London–Phuket services while increasing frequencies on Bangkok and Phuket routes from Oslo, Stockholm and Manchester. The additional capacity should support international tourist arrivals and remains positive for AOT and the broader tourism sector.

BA – Samui International Airport was ranked the second-best airport in Asia-Pacific, behind Singapore Changi, reinforcing Koh Samui’s position as a premium tourism destination and supportive of BA’s long-term tourism franchise. 

Comment: It is my favourite airport to land at – instant holiday feeling. 

BJC’s – BJC announced that its THB10bn commercial paper issuance was fully subscribed, with demand reaching approximately 4.4x the offering size, reflecting continued strong funding market access.

Comment: The moment insurance and AMCs are allowed to exit 

TOA – TOA plans to expand its premium paint and construction chemicals portfolio to enhance sales growth and profitability. Management also expects margins to improve further in 2H26, supported by lower oil prices reducing raw material costs.

Comment: Until China starts buying, this is a period that TOA will enjoy.

WHAIR – WHAIR unitholders approved the acquisition of factories, warehouses and logistics park assets from WHA in Chonburi, Rayong and Saraburi, comprising approximately 45,300 sq.m., for up to THB1.23bn. The acquisition is expected to support future rental income growth and strengthen the trust’s asset portfolio.

Comment: This is what Ticon/FPT should’ve been doing, but nope, fraser bought it and it’s gone quiet and forgot to expand.
