S
S is interested in bidding for a project by the SRT, “Market Sounding” which is a Bt68bn plan to develop three zones in Bang Sue. It expects Zone A to be put up for bid next year. (Khao Hoon, 06/08/15)

SMT
SMT expects 2H15 performance to turn around backed by large orders and the baht depreciation. Management says it targets 10% revenue growth this year from 2014’s Bt8.9bn. It plans to wipe out retained losses and pay a dividend soon. It has budgeted Bt200mn to invest in new machinery. (Thun Hoon, 06/08/15)

SUPER
SUPER targets electricity capacity of 2,000MW by 2017. It is looking to invest in Japan, Laos, and France. It expects to add more 131MW more (startup in August) and targets 500MW this year. It plans to wipe out retained losses of Bt700mn next year. (Khao Hoon, 06/08/15)

TAKUNI
TAKUNI expects to sign an MoU to buy an 8MW biomass power plant this year. It expects a 55% stake in this deal. It expects 2015 net profit to grow 100% with Bt1.2bn in revenue, close to last year’s. (Thun Hoon, 06/08/15)

THANI
THANI expects 3Q15 earnings to be good supported by auto loans. Management is confident 2015 revenue will reach its target growth of 20% with loan portfolio of Bt30bn, aided by bad debt management. NPLs are 4% and It expects 2015 NPLs will not go over 5%. (Thun Hoon, 06/08/15)
Comment: We think that the truck industry is doing far worse than the news and will remain to be the case until there is significant spending…which again won’t happen until the infrastructure projects take off.

VNG
VNG is not worried if the ERC postpones the PPA. It plans to do an acquisition to increase its competitiveness. 2Q15 net profit is expected to be healthy backed by the baht depreciation. It is confident 2015 revenue will achieve 20% target growth. (Thun Hoon, 06/08/15)
